Hey Beatlebob! It's good to be back! I hope you have a better September! August was a long and horrible month for me too! I'm so glad it's finally over with! I love that song "See You In September" too! My favorite version is by a group called The Happenings, which was a big hit in 1966. How are you feeling now? How has your reaction to the medication been? Has there been any improvements? I sure hope so! I've been thinking about you often lately and wishing the best! :-)

I think it's unfair how we have health insurance but there's still some things that aren't covered by it.
You must already be dreading having to pay for any possible "Bio Feedback" treatments in the future.

Yes, Ed King from Lynyrd Skynyrd recently passed away. I watched that same documentary! I really enjoyed it too! There's also another documentary on Showtime I loved called "Eric Clapton: A Life in 12 Bars". You've probably already seen that one too but if not, you should definitely check it out soon!

I share the same opinion on it as you! I like it, but I don't love it.
I think it's a bit weaker than the other two new songs.
But since it was the only track on the album with that particular producer,
I still have high hopes for the rest of "Egypt Station"!
I like how Paul used the word "raunchy" to describe the easily misheard lyrics.
"Raunchy" is the first song George Harrison played to impress John & Paul and become a member of The Beatles. This is mentioned alot in the "Anthology" DVDs. They even perform "Raunchy" together again for it. I immediately thought of that song after reading that quote. When I first heard of "Fuh You" I immediately thought of the Apple Records novelty song called "The King Of Fuh" by a band called Brute Force. I wondered if Paul's new song called "Fuh You" was a reference to it?? I figured only the most hardcore Beatles fans would catch that, same with the "raunchy" statement. In fact, I only saw one comment on YouTube make a connection between those 2 "Fuh" songs. The rest of the comments were so funny! Many people were surprised that Paul still uses that type of sexually suggestive language at his age. LOL! I agree with that comment you shared, about how "They changed the music landscape forever, so I think he's allowed to fuh around at this point in his life." He is "Paul Mc-Fuhing-Cartney", a member of the Beatles, afterall! LOL!!!!!! They've got a good point there. I just think the song is somewhat contemporary sounding, which I wasn't too crazy about but I blame that young guy producer! LOL! Did you know Paul is going to be on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on September 6?? The night before his new album is released! I'm so excited for both!!! Here's a reminder to watch!

I watched his funeral live on CNN and some clips from Aretha Franklin's funeral too.
I'm glad Trump wasn't allowed to attend McCain's funeral!
I'm also glad that David Cassidy was finally laid to rest too.

That picture is sad to see but it's a relief to know that he is finally at peace. I actually felt physically sick all Saturday long after seeing that photo! I wish they would've spread his ashes at sea instead. But at least they finally did something about it, after nearly 10 months! RIP :-(

Thanks for asking!!! I think that medication helped me. I'm not feeling as bad as I used to, lately!! I still have some bloating etc, but nothing like it used to be!!! I have some bloating and belching on and off every day. But, it subsides faster these days. I still get it pretty bad right after I eat! But, it subsides in an hour or so!! So, there is Some Improvement!! Still have problems when moving my bowels though!! I will be calling my Doctor tomorrow! He said to call one week after I finish the medication! I'll tell him how I am, and see what he suggests I need to do further about this!! Will see? So Yes, there is Some Improvement!! :-) Thanks So Much!! I Agree!! It Sure IS unfair how we Both have health insurance but there's still some things that aren't covered by it!! :-( My Doctor is "Trying" to get me set up for those "Bio Feedback" treatments! Yes, it Is Sad that Ed King from Lynyrd Skynyrd recently passed away!! :-( I see that you watched that same documentary, and really enjoyed it too!!! I also Loved the documentary on Showtime "Eric Clapton: A Life in 12 Bars"!!! Yes, I've seen that around 6 times!!! LOL!! I liked that part when Eric did a session for Aretha Franklin at Atlantic Records studios in December 1967!! That was pretty Cool!! Over all it was an Interesting documentary!!! I don't know why I didn't mention that documentary to you before? But, thanks for mentioning it here to me!! What a Sad life Eric had!! But, he over came it through his music!! And always tried to keep the "Blues" music alive!! And seems like a much happier person these days!! A lot of things I never knew about his life before, in that documentary!!

Hey Beatlebob! Wow, it's only been a few days since I was last online but there is SO much stuff to catch up on! Did you watch Paul on Jimmy Fallon? Even if you missed it on TV (I rarely stay up that late either!) there's some clips on YouTube, like this one:

I didn't buy the CD today (I did get some new John Lennon stamps at the Post Office though!)

so I've been listening to Paul's new album online (Amazon Music & Spotify) for now.

It's not on YouTube yet but probably will be soon.  

I am very impressed! I knew Paul wouldn't let us down! My favorite tracks so far are called "Who Cares" and "Dominoes". You really should give the whole album a listen if and when you can! I know you'll enjoy it! :-)

In fact, I never even knew about that song "The King Of Fuh" by Brute Force until earlier this year when it was played on a morning radio show called "Breakfast With The Beatles". That comment you shared from YouTube is actually not the same one that I came across. So apparently, there were at least 2 other people who thought of that rare Apple Records novelty besides me! Glad to see there's still some hardcore Beatles fans out there like us! Thanks for sharing some more information about that "Fuh" song from the late 60s. I read this: Stephen Friedland, known as "Brute Force", is an American singer and songwriter. He wrote and performed with The Tokens in the 1960s and wrote songs for Peggy March, Del Shannon, The Chiffons and The Cyrkle, and others. There's even a documentary about him! Cool!!! I've got to check it out sometime. 

Speaking of documentaries, there's another one I enjoyed called "Gone With The Wind: The Remarkable Rise And Tragic Fall of Lynyrd Skynyrd" from 2015. Have you ever seen that one? If not, I highly recommend it. It's good but I think "If I Leave Here Tomorrow" is a bit better. I recently watched the "Gone With The Wind" one on that channel called AXS TV, figuring it might be a documentary about the 1939 movie due to it's title. It sure wasn't, but I still enjoyed it anyway. LOL!!! 

I even enjoyed seeing pictures & video footage of those funerals / memorial services for John McCain, Aretha Franklin, and David Cassidy although it was all very sad too. Unfortunately there's been even more deaths since the last time we talked and I want to say RIP to those people...

I'm glad that your medication seems to be helping you somewhat even though you're not feeling completely better yet! Some improvement is still better than none! Please let me know any further updates on your health! Get well soon!

I just tired to leave a status that said "Hey Beatlebob, hope you're having a good September! Talk to you soon!" but it's not showing up! WTF??? Last time I was here, I remember entering a "status" that said basically the same thing as yours, about having a good Labor Day and hoping to hear from you again soon and I could've sworn it was posted but now it appears to have somehow disappeared from Ning! Weird?? I guess it didn't really go through afterall. I wonder why my statuses are not showing up anymore and if it's just me? Have you had any issues with that too? I hope little errors like that aren't indications of this site's demise!!! I get paranoid whenever I see an error page too! I heard on a site called "Reddit" that there's been talk of Ning having a recent change in policy and deciding to keep the sites going at no cost, as long as they're still active enough to stick around. Not sure if that same rule would apply to sites with inactive administrator(s) though! If not, we'd still be out of luck since Ann no longer participates in either one. But who knows if that's even legit though? It's only something I read on the Internet from an unofficial source. It sure would give us all a piece of mind if we knew for sure that nothing was happening to the 2 sites, at least not anytime soon. Especially since it would be so much hassle making and joining a new site! Besides, it's hard to find free social network hosting sites with as many features as this one and we're already well established here. I want this place to remain up and running for as long as possible so if that's the case, about Ning removing inactive sites, it looks like we better start posting here and on the Beatles site more often!

Actress, photographer and wife of film icon Charlton Heston.

She co-starred in THE ATOMIC CITY (1952) with Gene Barry and appeared in THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH (1952), BAD FOR EACH OTHER (1953), and WILL PENNY (1967), all with her husband.

That is sad news, but I'm glad she made it to that age and is reunited with him again now.

Luckily I managed to snag a few. They're too cool to ever actually use though! LOL!!! 

Remember when we talked about John Lennon stamps and how there were some available in other countries but not in the U.S. yet?? Finally our dream has come true! And the stamp design looks amazing too!!! Hopefully you can get some from your local post office or order them online too! I think it's a limited edition design so it's best to grab some while you still can! 

I hope you've heard Paul's new album "Egypt Station" by now. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

Hey Sadie! Sorry it took a while to "Get Back" to you!! No, I missed seeing Paul on Jimmy Fallon! :-( I see you rarely stay up that late either! LOL! Thanks So Much for the clip from the show!! I Really Enjoyed It!! :-) Loved how Jimmy Fallon reminisced about Paul and his albums when he was younger! LOL! And that picture of him trying to have hair like Paul cracked me up! The best part was when Paul left that voicemail on Jimmy's phone to try to reach the "Young" Jimmy Fallon!!! LOL!!! I bet whoever got that message was Thrilled!! That was Great!!! LOL!!!

No, I haven't' heard "Egypt Station" yet. :-( Will have to wait a while and get the CD!! I have an old analog slim line phone. And it's almost shot!! It misses calls, and some of the calls I do get is sometimes so full of static I can barely hear the person!! Have to try to get another phone like that!! I did some searching just now and they are ALL JUNK made in China!! So many Bad reviews on them!! The AT&T ones like I have. And other brands too!! Will have to do some more searching!! FUN!! And even the more expensive ones with the answering machine are all Junk too!!! I Hope I can find one that doesn't have too many bad reviews Soon!!I see you didn't buy the CD yet either. I called my Doctor last Tuesday and every day after and didn't get to talk to him till last Friday!!!! He was very busy, and Wednesday he wasn't in, Thursday when I called again the girl there said he tried calling me but couldn't get through to me! I told her I was home all day waiting for his call? It must have been my DAMN Phone!! I called again on Friday, and she said she will make sure he gets my message to call me!! Friday afternoon he Finally called me!! When he called, my phone was full of Static!! I told him that, and asked him to call me right back again. He Did. That time I could hear him, Thank Goodness!! That's how I know my phone is crapping out!! It Sucked that I had to wait all week to get in touch with him!! Well, he asked how I'm doing. And I told him I'm still getting very bloated whenever I Eat!! And still having the same problems moving my bowels! He told me sometimes it takes a while After taking That Medication to start feeling less bloated. And he told me there is no reason to take That Medication again. He said I ran my course with That Medication!! And he won't prescribe anymore for me. No need to, since the 14 days on it was enough to take care of that bacterial overgrowth in my Stomach!! He asked me when was the last time I had a full work up on routine blood tests. I told him it was a good while ago. He asked if I have back pain. I told him I've had Bad Arthritis in my back for years!! He asked if I get the back pain in my lower back and towards the side of my back sometimes. I said yes. Then he said he is ordering some blood tests for me and to come in and take the blood tests as soon as I can. I went there on Monday and took the blood tests!!! He said to call him in Four Weeks!!! To see how I'm doing by then. He said he was concerned about my weight loss. He said when I took those breath tests I weighed 140 and a few days later I weighed 138. And also that I lost a lot of weight before all of this too. He said between all the bad bloating I've had for the past few months, weight loss, and back pain, he was concerned!! He said that back pain could mean something Else is Wrong and causing most of these symptoms! IF I'm still not feeling any better in Four Weeks when I call him, he is going to set me up for a Cat Scan!!! To see if there is something else going on with me!!! DAMN!!! I wish I didn't have to wait 4 Weeks to call him again!! But, he wants to see the results of the new blood work and also said it might take a while to start feeling better after I finished taking That medication! So, will see in Four Weeks? I have a feeling I'm going to need a Cat Scan!!!! I'm Worried about that!!! Will see how it goes over the next four weeks and take it from there! FUN!!!! Hopefully I will start feeling less bloating when I eat over the next four weeks!!! But, who knows?? I'm worried what that Cat Scan he wants me to take Might Show? Something Else Could Be Wrong With Me? And who knows What?? But, I would want and need to know for Sure!!! So, I'll know more 4 weeks from now when I call him. And I'm sure he will send me for the Cat Scan at that time!!! This is taking forever!!! :-( But, he IS trying to figure out what else can be causing this!!! Will let you know more when I know more!!! That's the latest!!! Thanks for the Get Well Soon wishes!!!! Sorry for rambling on and on about this all the time!!!

All last week waiting to talk to him. Then Saturday was Laundry. Sunday had to do cleaning etc around here. Monday went for the Blood Tests. Yesterday had to get food etc from the stores. That's why it took so long to get back to you!!! Tomorrow I'm going to Vote in the primaries!! More Fun!! And I have to hunt down a DAMN phone before this one totally dies on me!!!

I see you heard on a site called "Reddit" that there's been talk of Ning having a recent change in policy and deciding to keep the sites going at no cost, as long as they're still active enough to stick around. But, you're not sure if that same rule would apply to sites with inactive administrator(s) though?? Really!!!! IF NOT, we'd still be out of luck since Ann no longer participates in either one!!! You're right about being not sure IF that's even legit, though? It's only something you read on the Internet from an Unofficial Source!! I know what you mean!!! It sure would give us all a piece of mind if we knew for Sure that nothing was happening to the 2 sites, at least not anytime soon!!!!!! Yeah, especially since it would be so much of a hassle making and joining a new site!!! So True about that it's hard to find free social network hosting sites with as many features as this one, and we're already well established here!!! Yes, I Do remember when we talked about John Lennon stamps and how there were some available in other countries but not in the U.S. yet!!! FINALLY our dream has come true!!!! :-) I agree!!! The stamp design looks amazing too!!! I plan on ordering them online as soon as I can!!!! My local post office around the corner doesn't carry "Special or limited edition" stamps!! It's just a small post office and the large post office is pretty far away!! I usually order some sheets of stamps from USPS online!! I Hope to SOON!!!

Hey Sadie! So Good to hear from you again!! So Sorry for the delay in Response again!! Thanks for being so understanding! I see you've been extremely busy too! About my phone. I put all new wires going from the wall jack to my separate answering machine then to my phone. So far when my Mother calls me there hasn't been any static. Will see how it works out when I get calls from anyone else. The same phone I have is Cheap on amazon, only $9.99 but, most of the reviews say it's Crap, don't waste your time buying it!! Some don't even work at all, some came with parts missing, and some stopped working after one week or so. Cheap Junk from China!! I was talking to one of the maintenance men here and he said sometimes people here just throw the old analog phones out because they want the newer technology phones. He said the next time he sees one, he'll give it to me. So, I'll see what happens. Hoping my phone is Alright now with the New Wires I hooked Up!!

I just looked on Amazon at Paul McCartney's new CD. Yes, it's only $9.99 but, it said: Back-ordered. Due in stock September 21. I'm going to wait to get it and some John Lennon stamps because I just had to order more cat food and kitty litter! Yes, before I changed those wires I couldn't even speak to my Doctor on the phone without plenty of static!!! I asked him to hang up and call me back again because of that!! That time I didn't hear any static!! After searching for phones and finding all Junk, I thought maybe I should try to put new phone wires on my hookup!! I bought them a while back and I bought extras just in case of anything. They were still sealed in the packages! So, Hopefully that did the trick!!! Hoping!! I see you know how hard it is to find a good phone these days!! And it's also difficult finding a good computer too!! :-( Even with All the Crap that is still going on with my computer, it's still working after I reset it when it starts up! And after that I have to change the date and time!! Hoping it will last a good while yet!! Even with the Crap I deal with every time I power it up!! Can't afford to get a new one now!!! Haven't been online in a while between still not feeling that good, doing stuff around here, and worrying about what's going on with me!! I'm Also worried about my Sister and my Niece being that they live in North Carolina!! I've been watching CNN, MSNBC, And NBC every day following all the news on the storm! We tried calling my Sister at the Nursing Home a few times. But, All we keep getting is a busy signal, nothing else! We talked to my Niece on the 13th, and she said she will be on duty ( she's a Cop ) about 20 hours a day!! She said she will get back to us when she can. But, we haven't heard from her yet! So, Both my Mother and I are Worried about them!!!! Hope we hear from my Niece Soon!!!! Hope they are Alright!!! I imagine that they lost electricity there!!

Wow! I've lost some weight recently too, and my pants have also been sliding down. LOL!!! I certainly know how embarrassing it can be to pull them back up in public. I went down a few sizes but I still need to lose some more weight. It's actually good that I'm not losing alot of weight all at once, because then it could signal health problems like cancer! And I can't even afford to buy a whole new smaller sized wardrobe at the moment! I hope your recent weight loss doesn't mean anything serious! Cool! Did you and your mother ever manage to get through the nursing home to speak to your sister??
