Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for answering my email and letting me know that's all you had time to answer at the moment and that you will be busy accompanying your mother to an appointment soon. I hope both you and her feel at least a little bit better soon! I won't write much else so you won't have much more to catch up on.

I just wanted to stop by here to say...

RIP Joe Jackson

(1928 - 2018)

Joseph "JoeJackson, the patriarch who launched the musical Jackson family dynasty, has died from pancreatic cancer at age 89.

His death comes just 2 days after the 9th anniversary of son Michael Jackson's death, who died on June 25, 2009.

Wow! I can't believe it's been nearly a decade since Michael Jackson died! It feels like just yesterday to me! I still remember it so clearly and how we sadly lost another 1970s icon, Farrah Fawcett that same day too. RIP.

Hope to hear back from you soon, Beatlebob! I won't send you any more emails until you catch up on this post and my last post which is now on Page 33 of this Rest In Peace topic. I also commented on an old picture from 2013 where we talked about the show Roseanne. Have a better month of July! :-)

Hey Sadie! I'll answer the TOP of page 34 First. Then I'll go back to page 33 to catch up on your last post before this one! You're Welcome for answering your email!! I Really Wanted to!! And that was all I had time for that day. Thanks for Hoping my Mother and I will feel at least a little bit better soon!!! Well, we made it there for her to see her Dermatologist. We got there around 9:15 AM for a 10 AM appointment. We had to wait till almost 1:00 before she got called in to see him!!! The place is always Packed with patients!! :-( I was Glad the bathroom was close by!!! We didn't get back home till around 2 PM!! What a Long Day!!! He sent a prescription to our drug store for a medicated ointment to put on her ankle. He said that should help after a while! He also, checked her other problem areas and said to just continue using the other ointments on them. And that was that. I'm Still having problems Peeing Etc., from that visit to the Urologist!! Also, have been having bad problems with my Bowel Movements and swelling inside the left side of my rectum lately. Will be seeing my Gastro Doctor sometime after the Fourth of July!! Always Something, as you know!! :-( After I see Him to see what's going on with Those problems, I'll make an appointment with my Urologist IF That problem isn't any better by then!!! Will see?? FUN!!! :-(

Thanks for saying you won't send me any more emails until I catch up on this post and your last post!! I just don't have enough time to answer your emails and reply to your posts on Here on the same day, when I have to do other things around here at home!! Hope you understand!! I'll catch up with on page 33 now, etc!! :-)

WOW!!! That's the Same Exact Paul tour book you have!!! COOL!!! Yes, that from the same tour I attended, or around the same time period!! Mine didn't come with that poster or inserts with it too!! Just the Booklet from the concert that's on the "Left Hand Side Top" of the picture I posted!! I see you found it used at a thrift store, but it's still in good condition!!! :-) Yeah, I'm Glad I managed to save the Ticket from the concert!! It was small enough to fit in a jewelry type box that I keep important things in!! Sad that I lost the Tour Book though!! Actually it got damaged in a flood I had when I was living in my basement apartment along with other cherished pictures and items I used to have!! :-( They all were soaked so bad I just had to throw them out!! Oh well. I'm Glad you still have Your ticket to see Paul too, from 2010!! :-) Yes, it is difficult to get tickets for him in general, especially ones that are good seats!!! Yes! It was the same way back then in the early 90s too!!! Actually the tickets for the Paul concert I saw where from a lottery type line in front of a store at the time!! They were only selling a certain amount of tickets!! Me and my friends who went were working at the time and we couldn't go to get the tickets there!! We gave money for the tickets to One of my Friend's wife who waited in line for hours in front of that store! First a few people came out and gave out a wrist band with a number on it to the people in the lines. Then waited for the numbers to be called out to buy Tickets!! That's how they worked it, since they only had a limited number of tickets for the concert to sell!! The Store bought the tickets from Ticket Master. Luckily my Friend's Wife was one of the Numbers that were called out later!!! :-) And she went up front and purchased our Tickets!!! :-) The max amount each person could purchase were 8 tickets!! And that was the amount she purchased for Me and My Friends including her!! There was a announcement in our local free newspaper about the Ticket raffle 2 weeks before that store held it!! Which had all the information about how it worked and the max amount of tickets each person can buy. We were So Excited to take the chance to get the Tickets!!!! So, we got our money together and my Friend's Wife went there for us!! And she Lucked Out!!! :-) The only bad thing about it was she was one of last numbers that were called, and she wound up with nose bleed seats!!! We gave her enough money to buy whatever seats she could get!!! But, that's how it turned out! LOL!! We were So Glad that we Actually got the Tickets, though!!! We celebrated that weekend at my Friend's house that we Had Our Tickets to Actually See Paul Live in Concert!! :-) We took 2 cars with 4 people each to NJ. Was a Long Drive to NJ, but sure was worth the Trip!!!! :-) That's how I was able to See Paul in concert!! :-)

Yeah, I didn't matter that it was all the way to NJ!!! I Know You Would Too!!! Anywhere for PAUL!!!!! :-) I see you found some cool stuff at thrift stores, including a rare Paul CD called "Never Stop Doing What You Love". And You and I sure are Glad that he never stopped doing what he loved!!! LOL!!! :-) I see the artwork book you had was simply called "Paul McCartney Artwork". Yeah, what ever happened to that book you had? Most likely got lost somehow!! :-( But, I'm sure you would love to buy it someday again!!! The picture you posted of the book didn't show up for he Here? Is this the Book you had??
And this is my Ticket for Paul's Concert:

You're Welcome for providing some more information about lactose intolerance!!! Thanks again, for sharing that video of Paul's "carpool karaoke" session!!! I Really Enjoyed It!!! :-) I'm Glad that you're Still celebrating Paul and will continue to do so until July!!! :-) I Know!!! It IS too bad that you won't be able to afford to see Ringo soon!!! :-( But with his birthday coming up next week you'll be able to celebrate him and that will make you feel a lot Better at least!!! :-)

that Sure was a Close Call for Mike Nesmith!!! :-( I'm Wishing Him the Best Too!!! I see you don't know much about the band Pantera either, but you wanted to share that sad news about their drummer!! :-( I see he was very big in the rock community and friends with many famous rock stars!! That sure Is Horrible that he witnessed his own brother being murdered right next to him onstage!!!! WOW!!! :-( Yes, at least it's comforting to know they are probably together again now and at peace!! RIP Vinnie Paul. Yeah, I remember hearing that Michael Jackson didn't have a good relationship with his father!! I know Joe Jackson just passed away, hopefully they will finally make peace with one another!! Yes, I also Hope that David Cassidy and his father are at peace now!!! I see that even Shirley Jones said that in her official statement last November!!

I see that Sadly you have some more new deaths to report!! :-( Thanks for posting them!!! I seen about the death of "The Old Man" from "Pawn Stars" on the TV news!! :-( Very Sad News!!! I Love that show Too!!! Really!! It will never be the same again without him!!! RIP. I was watching the History Channel last night and they had a Special about him at 9 PM!!! I Really Enjoyed It!! The cast and crew did a Very Good job making it for the "Pawn Stars" show Fans!! Showing some Funny clips about him from different episodes. And some Touching things about the Real Him!!! I Hope they will show it gain, if you didn't see it!!!

Deanna Lund, who starred in the late-’60s sci-fi series Land of the Giants and went on to appear in dozens of films and TV shows, died Friday at age 81. :-( I don't really remember "Land Of The Giants"?? Maybe I just forgot about that show? I think I seen her in some other TV shows, though. I see you liked the "Land Of The Giants"!! But, you weren't aware which cast members were still living until now. RIP.

Left Bank Drummer George Cameron Dead at 70. :-( Thanks for posting the Video!! I Loved that Song “Walk Away Renée” Too!!! Pretty Ballerina was a Nice song Too!!! RIP!

And Thanks for sending me the new email! I wanted to answer it and I finally Did!! :-) Thanks!! I Hope You enjoy the last week of June too!!! Hope to catch up with you SOON , as well, My Friend!!! I'm Glad you're looking forward to my Ringo & FAB 4th Of July Photoshop posts soon!!! I'll post them Soon, My Friend!!! Will be old ones, though. ;-) I'm also, looking forward to any new patriotic themed podcast show from Mike Pell too!!! Thanks My Friend!!! Hope You have a Great July Too!!! :-) I'll check out the rest of page 34 now!! :-)

Yes, I heard Joe Jackson died from pancreatic cancer at age 89. RIP Joe Jackson! Thanks for posting the Picture!!! And the Video Too!!!! That was a Big Hit from The Jackson Five!!!! WOW!!! His death comes just 2 days after the 9th anniversary of son Michael Jackson's death, who died on June 25, 2009!! Yes!! I too can't believe it's been nearly a decade since Michael Jackson died!!! It feels like it was almost just yesterday to me too!!! I remember it so clearly too, and how we sadly lost another 1970s icon, Farrah Fawcett that same day too!!! At age 62 after her long struggle with cancer! RIP!

Thanks again, for saying you won't send me any more emails until I catch up on both of your recent posts!!! I just don't have enough time to answer your emails and reply to your posts on Here on the same day, while doing other things at home etc!! Hope you understand!! I see you also, commented on an old picture from 2013 where we talked about the show Roseanne!! I'll check that out Now!! Thanks So Much My Friend!!! I Hope You have a Good Month of July Too!!! Hope to catch up SOON!!!!! :-) Have a FAB DAY!!! :-)

Hey Sadie! I posted 7 old photos for the Fourth of July today. Hope You Enjoy Them, even though they're Old ones!! I posted the same one's on our Beatles site today too. I didn't post any of the Ringo Birthday photos on the Beatles site yet. Because his Birthday is 8 days from now!! LOL! But, I'll post them HERE for YOU Today!! Because you said you were looking forward to seeing them! I'll post the same Ringo one's on the Beatles site next week! ;-) Of course the Ringo One's are Old ones I made too. But, I Still Hope you enjoy seeing them again!! :-) I also, posted a few recent pictures of Ringo here. Posted 16 photos total. ;-)

I don't know how the weather is by you? But, we are having a Heat Wave, starting Today here. This Sunday is supposed to be the worst!! Will be 98 with a heat index over 105 degrees. YUCK!!! Will be in the mid 90's starting today till next Tuesday I think. Then will be in the mid to high 80's after that. I Hate THIS Weather!!! :-( I like the weather to be in the 60's!! LOL!! I Hope it won't be as Bad by You!!!

I caught up with pages 33 and 34 Yesterday Here!! Thanks So Much My Friend!! And Thank You So Much for the Good News about "The Conners" new show coming this fall!!! I'm Really looking forward to it!! :-) I have Laundry to do Saturday as usual. :-( And Sunday, will be busy with doing stuff around here. Hopefully I'll get some time be online sometime on Sunday!! Otherwise will catch up with you on Monday!!! Let's Hope we both start feeling better soon!! I Hope you Have a FAB Weekend, My Friend!!! Hope we catch up SOON!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob, I appreciate all your comments. Thanks for letting me know how you and your mother have been lately. Sorry to hear about her ankle and your current gastrointestinal and urinary problems! Hopefully you will both start feeling at least a little bit better soon! Best wishes! :-)

That sucks how you lost some stuff in a flood, including that tour book, but what a cool way of getting Paul McCartney tickets! Thanks for sharing that interesting story about the raffle type of sale! I really enjoyed that! Are you still friends with any of those 7 people you went to the show with? I've taken long trips to see Paul too and agree it's worth it! Yes, that is the same art book I once had. I can't seem to find my old one anymore so I'll have to buy it again sometime. Thank you for posting the 4th Of July and Ringo birthday pictures here and soon to be posted on the Beatles site too. I enjoyed them all!

You probably do remember the TV show "Land Of The Giants"! My area is also going through an intense heat wave too which really sucks!!! The temperatures have hit over 100 degrees here too! I also hate any weather above and below 60°-70° Fahrenheit. It seems like there's no spring or autumn anymore, just winter and summer! LOL!!! Do you have any special plans for the 4th? I am considering going to a concert of The Spinners! It's a free show and located nearby, but it's outdoors and with this incredibly hot weather I might not go afterall! It's also late in the evening when I'd rather be at home watching TV. So I'll probably just stay home and watch "Yankee Doodle Dandy" on TCM instead.

Well thanks again for adding some new pictures to this site! I commented on two, but you already know how I always enjoy seeing your Photoshop creations, even if they're recycled! I just added a few new patriotic themed photos here. Enjoy! :-)

Looking forward to Ringo's birthday on Saturday and hearing back from you soon! Have a great Independence Day and month of July! :-)

Hey Sadie! So Glad to hear from you!! :-) You're So Welcome for all the comments!! I Always look forward to your comments too!! You're Welcome for letting you know about how my Mother and I have been doing lately!! Thanks So Much for the Best Wishes My Friend!!! :-) YES! Hopefully we both will start feeling at least a little bit better soon!!! Hoping!!!

Yeah, that Really Sucks how I lost some very cool stuff in a flood I had including that tour book!! :-( Things Happen, as you know!! :-( Yeah, that was a Cool way of getting Paul McCartney tickets!!! :-) I'm just Glad we Lucked out with that raffle!! :-) I'm Glad you enjoyed the interesting story about the raffle type of sale!!! :-) I was Glad to share that with you!! Well, when I moved to The Bronx, I lost touch with my friends from Long Island. Around two years ago, I got a call from one of those friends. And he gave me his email address and gave me email addresses for a few of my other friends too. We wrote emails for a while and it was Good to hear from them again. But, after a few months the emails started fading away. Mainly because they have very busy lives, and I felt very out of touch with them because My Life is so much different from their lives these days!! Oh well. Yes, I know you took long trips to see Paul too!!! Sure is worth it!! :-) I see that Is the same art book you once had! I Hope you can buy it again sometime!! You're So Welcome for posting the 4th Of July and Ringo birthday pictures here!!! :-) I'm so Glad you enjoyed them!! Yeah, I'll post the Ringo one's on the Beatles site in a few days!

Come to think of it, I do remember that TV show "Land Of The Giants"!!! ;-) I'm Sorry to hear your area is also going through an intense heat wave!!! Sure Does Suck!!!! :-( WOW!!! I see the temperatures have hit over 100 degrees there too!!!! :-( It was 95 here yesterday, but not as humid as today!! Today will be 100 degrees here too!! And with the rise of humidity the heat index factor will feel like it's 105 or higher!! :-( It's supposed to be in the 90's ALL this coming week now too!! I HATE This!!! I know you also hate any weather above and below 60°-70° Fahrenheit!!!! This is Horrible!!! Yeah, it's like there's no spring or autumn anymore, just winter and summer!!! WTF?? LOL!!! I Hope you are managing to Stay Cool as much as you can!!! No, I don't have any special plans for the 4th. I see you were considering going to a concert of The Spinners!! Being it's a free show and located nearby! Cool!! But, since it's outdoors with this Horrible Hot weather and it's also late in the evening, you'll probably just stay home and watch "Yankee Doodle Dandy" on TCM instead! That concert would have been Nice!! But, I don't blame you if you just stay home and watch TV!!! I'm just staying home and plan on watching TV too!! I'm Sure they will be showing "Yankee Doodle Dandy" on TCM, they usually do on the 4th!! Thanks for posting the Picture of "Yankee Doodle Dandy"!! :-) And the other Retro looking one Too!! :-) I watched the movie "Independence Day" last night. You know, that Sci-Fi adventure film from 1996. Haven't seen that one in a long time and it was on one of my premium channels. LOL! I enjoyed seeing it again. I'm sure there will be some fireworks shows etc and of course "Yankee Doodle Dandy" on TV!! :-)

Again, You're Welcome for adding some new pictures to this site!! Thanks for commenting on two of them!! :-) I'm Glad that you always enjoy seeing my Photoshop creations, even if they're recycled!!! :-) I see you added a few new patriotic themed photos here!! Thanks My Friend!!! I Loved Them!! I commented on ALL of them!! Thanks!!! :-) I'm Also looking forward to Ringo's Birthday!!! And I'm looking forward to hearing back from You again Soon too!!! :-) Thank You!!! I Hope You have a great Independence Day and Month of July too!!! :-) Stay COOL, My Friend!!!

HOT Days Like Today is.................

Sadie, a few pics for you ;-)

Stay COOL in this HOT Weather!!

Hope to catch up with you SOON, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! Sorry it took a little while to get back to you. I was busy at an Independence Day celebration. I went to a free concert of a band called "Head East". Have you ever heard of them? BeatleNut9 said she is a fan. I don't know much of their music but since they are classic rock and the show was free, I decided to go. I'm glad I got to see them eventhough I missed The Spinners.
I certainly know how that is about trying to rekindle old friendships only to realize that person has changed alot and being friends with them again just isn't the same. That's happened to me several times both with real life friends and online ones. Some of my old Beatle buddies even have kids now! Yes, how time flies! LOL!!! I'm glad we never lost touch though! Thanks for always being my friend! :-)

Thanks for wishing me the best in this awful weather! This summer is extra scorching! I can really relate to that picture you shared with the quote and autumn leaves! It's why I'm already looking forward to fall! Fall is my favorite season, in fact. It was 103° F at the celebration I went to yesterday! Yikes!! There were a few times when I wanted to just collapse out there in that overwhelming heat. I came back home with a horrible migraine headache and a bad sunburn on my left shoulder! One thing that made me laugh though is how the song "Heat Wave" by Martha & The Vandellas played over the loud speakers in the park.
In the middle of a real heat wave. I wonder if I'm the only one who caught that reference and if that particular song was played on purpose? LOL!
Yes, it's so hot that I'm not even going anywhere today on the 4th. I'll just stay home and watch any firework shows on TV along with "Yankee Doodle Dandy" which will indeed be on TCM tonight (at 8 PM, EST) I went to see that "Independence Day" movie in the theater back in '96. I don't think I've ever seen it again since! I don't remember liking it much at the time, but might enjoy it more if I saw it again now. LOL!
I'm surprised they're showing a movie that old on a Premium network? My HBO sometimes throws in some older films like that too, but not as old as the stuff that plays on Turner Classic Movies, which is my absolute favorite channel!

I contacted Mike Pell and he added me to his mailing list for his "Rockollections" podcast show. So you don't have to forward me any more of his emails! But I do appreciate you sending me his last few letters! Thanks!
The Beatles site wouldn't let me send him a private message without adding him as a friend first, so I did that and he got both my friend request and new message! Good! He hasn't responded to any of my comments on the Beatle site about his Food themed episode yet though. Hopefully he'll get around to it eventually.
That "Tandoori Chicken" song by George Harrison / Ronnie Spector actually wasn't a new one for me, I've heard it before. I much prefer "Try Some, Buy Some" though. Basically both of their versions are identical, other than the different vocals. LOL!!!!

I wonder if Mike will do anything special with his next show for Ringo's birthday on Saturday? I sure hope so! Ringo's solo material is often overlooked! WOW!!! Thanks for commenting on ALL of the vintage 4th of July pictures I added to this site as well as responding to my comments on your own Photoshop pics!
I really appreciate it, and I also enjoyed all the Paul & Ringo pictures you shared here! It's great to see them both looking so healthy and active at their age in the recent pics. :-)

I agree with all of your comments on the vintage photos I posted. It's always good to see Marilyn Monroe, Raquel Welch, Rita Hayworth, etc... in sexy festive photo shoots. ;-)
The Ava Gardner one in color really does look like it could have been taken yesterday, it's such great quality. The one of her with little toy soldiers on the beach is cool too. And the one of her riding a giant firecracker, I thought that was borderline sexually suggestive, especially for those days! Same for the similar Julie London one! Maybe it's just my dirty mind though?? LMAO!!!!!
You're right about the Jane Powell one, that sure was a clever way of spelling "4th Of July" out. The Debbie Reynolds shots are similar because they're from the same exact photo session, only one picture is in black & white and the other in color. It's interesting to see Carolyn Jones in an Independence Day theme, since she's usually in a Halloween one as Morticia Addams. LOL! I remember we said the same thing about Samantha from Bewitched dressed as Santa for Christmas. And yes, I found photos of both Ann Miller & Jayne Mansfield sitting on giant stars & striped "Uncle Sam" style hats. That must have been a popular patriotic pose of the day! Glad you enjoyed all of them! To be honest, I'm not too sure who Myrna Dell is. I got her confused at first with Myrna Loy, who is a different actress with the same first name, that I only know from the Cary Grant movie "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" which recently aired on TCM. In one of the pics I shared, I only knew who Susan Hayward was. If it wasn't for the caption itself already saying "with Virginia Dale" I wouldn't have known who the other woman is. LOL! Eventhough I know alot about classic Hollywood, every now and then there's still some people who pop up that I'm a bit unfamiliar with! But I still enjoy sharing vintage themed holiday photos even if I'm not too sure who the person in it is! LOL!!!

I shared some new things over at the Beatles site, if you're interested in checking them out whenever you get the chance to. It's mostly stuff you've already seen about Paul's new upcoming album, etc... but I'm just posting it again on there for others to see, if anyone even looks at that site anymore. :-(

Glad the little stars showed up for you! I actually had that in mind, how the star symbol fit both occasions! For the Independence Day flag & fireworks and Ringo STARR! So cool how you picked up on that too! :-)

Well I'm signing off now but before I go, I wanted to say:

RIP Alan Longmuir

co-founder of the Bay City Rollers, died on July 2 in Scotland at age 70

Sad news! I always loved "Saturday Night"! S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT! Great song!!
Rest In Peace.

Hope we can catch up soon too! Have a fab 4th of July, Ringo's birthday, weekend, and month of July! :-)

Hey Sadie! Don't worry that it took a while to get back to me. I see you were busy at an Independence Day celebration. Cool that you went to a Free concert to see a band called "Head East"!! No, I never heard of the. Well, since BeatleNut9 said she is a fan and it's a classic rock band along with the show being free, I see why you decided to go!! :-) Even though you missed The Spinners, I'm Glad you got to see "Head East"!!
I see you know how it is about trying to rekindle old friendships, only to realize that person has changed a lot and being friends with them again just isn't the same anymore!! And I see that happened to you several times, both with real life friends and online ones too!! Sad! And even some of your old Beatle Buddies even have kids now!! So, you certainly know how it is with trying to rekindle old friendships!! Really!!! How Time Flies!! LOL!!! Thanks for saying that my friend!!! I'm also, So Glad that We never lost touch!!! And Thank YOU for always being my friend!!! :-)

You're Welcome for wishing you the Best in this Awful weather!! Really!!! THIS Summer IS extra scorching!! I figured You would relate to that picture I shared with that quote and the autumn leaves!! That's also, why I'm looking forward to Fall too!! Fall is Also My Favorite Season!! :-) The End of the Hot weather and the pretty colors of the leaves etc!! WOW!!! I see it was actually 103° F at the celebration you went to!!! YIKES!!! I can imagine there were a few times when you wanted to just collapse out there in that overwhelming heat!!! :-( Then when you came back home you had a horrible migraine headache, and a bad sunburn on your left shoulder!!! DAMN!! So Sorry to hear it!! :-( But, I can imagine you were laughing when they played that song "Heat Wave" by Martha & The Vandellas over the loud speakers in the park!!! "In the middle of a Real heat wave"!!! LOL!!!!! You probably weren't the only one who caught that reference to that song!!! LOL!!! I think it probably Was played on purpose!! LOL!!!! ;-) I see because it was so Hot that you didn't go anywhere on the 4th!!! I don't blame you after the way you felt at and after that concert!!! It's good that you just stayed home to watch fireworks shows along with "Yankee Doodle Dandy" that was on TCM at 8 PM!!! That's what I did too!! I was switching the channels back and forth watching the Macy's fireworks display and watching "Yankee Doodle Dandy" on TCM!!! LOL!! ;-) I see you saw that "Independence Day" movie in the theater back in '96. But, you don't think you ever seen it again since that time! Because you don't remember liking it much at the time. But yeah, just maybe you might enjoy it more if you saw it again now?? Who knows? LOL!! Yeah, sometimes the Premium channels do throw in some older films like that!! Like HBO does sometimes! I think I seen it on one of the "Starz Encore" premium channels. I enjoyed it, though. But, the Premium channels usually don't show the real older stuff like what plays on Turner Classic Movies!! That's one of my Favorite Channels Too!! TCM also shows some movies from the 60's, 70's and 80's once in a while too. I was watching The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" on TCM on demand last week. On my Cable Box remote to watch On Demand stuff, one of the sections has Free On Demand. Meaning some of the Regular cable channels which also includes TCM. On there, TCM only has a few movies to watch each month. And one they were showing were The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night". I have that on DVD. But, I watched it anyway. ;-)

I'm Glad to hear that you contacted Mike Pell and he added you to his mailing list for his "Rockollections" podcast shows!! :-) Okay, so now that I know that I won't forward you any more of his emails! Thanks for letting me know! I was glad to send you his last few letters!! I did that just in case he didn't get back to you yet. You're Very Welcome for doing that!! I see the Beatles site wouldn't let you send him a private message without adding him as a friend first. I thought you already adding him as a friend there. So, you did add him as a friend and he got both your friend request and new message!!! Great!! I see that he hasn't responded to any of your comments on the Beatle site about his Food themed episode yet though. I guess he's just busy, and I'm sure he'll get around to it eventually!! I see that "Tandoori Chicken" song by George Harrison / Ronnie Spector actually wasn't a new one for you, that you heard it before. That was the First time I heard that song! I also, prefer "Try Some, Buy Some" too!! Yes, basically both of their versions are identical, other than the different vocals!! LOL!!!! ;-)

I Really Enjoyed your Pics and the comments you left on my Photoshop pics!! :-) I'm Glad you also enjoyed all the Paul & Ringo pictures I shared here!!! :-) I Agree!! It's So Great to see them both looking so healthy and active at their age in the recent pics!! :-)

I see you agree with all of your comments on the vintage photos you posted. YES!!!! It's always good to see Marilyn Monroe, Raquel Welch, Rita Hayworth, etc... in sexy festive photo shoots!!!! LOL!! ;-) Really!!! That Ava Gardner one in color really does look like it could have been taken yesterday, it's such great quality!!! And the one of her with little toy soldiers on the beach is cool too!!! I thought they were Cute!! I agree with you about that one of her riding a giant firecracker, I also thought that was borderline sexually suggestive, especially for those days!!!! LOL!!! LOL!!!! :-) Well, I Always Enjoy the vintage themed holiday photos you share here!!! :-)

Thanks for letting me know that you shared some new things over at the Beatles site!!! I see that it's mostly stuff I've already seen about Paul's new upcoming album, etc. You just posted them again on there for others to see! Yeah, IF anyone even looks at that site anymore? :-( SAD!!! When I get the time I'll check what you posted there, anyway!! Will post the Happy Birthday Ringo Pictures over there!!

Yes, the little stars showed up for me!! Loved Them!!! I figured you had that in mind, how the star symbol fit both occasions!!! For the Independence Day flag & fireworks and Ringo STARR!!! I Surely picked up on that too!!! Loved That!!! :-)

I see you sadly have another death to report!! :-( Alan Longmuir, co-founder of the Bay City Rollers, died on July 2 in Scotland at age 70!
Thanks for posting the Video!!! Yes, Sad News!! I Really liked that song "Saturday Night" too!!!

Oh, I finally made an appointment with my Gastro Doctor about the problems I'm having in that area!! For Next Tuesday!!! Will see what he has to say? Have a FAB Day and Weekend, My Friend!!! Hope we can catch up Soon!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob. Thanks for writing back. I hope you have fun celebrating Ringo Starr's birthday! Glad you agree with me that some of Ringo's solo material is too good to be overlooked! I've been listening to his latest album called "Give More Love" alot lately. Wow, it's amazing! I like it even more now than I did last year. It has really grown on me. I liked it then but now I absolutely love it! I bet Paul's upcoming new album "Egypt Station" will be great too! I can hardly wait!!!

I had never heard of the band "Head East" either, but now I know a few of their songs. Too bad the heat wave pretty much ruined my Independence Day experience this year! I also recently watched "A Hard Day's Night" on the Turner Classic Movies channel. My cable service is the same way. It puts up a few movies every week from TCM available to watch again on demand. Just like you, I can't resist watching AHDN whenever it's on TV eventhough I already have it on DVD. BeatleNut said she's the same way. LOL!!! Another channel similar to TCM is FXM. Do you have that one? It's a premium network and plays a mixture of both new movies and classics. Usually the classic movies are shown after midnight when I'm not awake though. They call that block of programming "FXM Retro".

Thank you for commenting on the stuff I posted over at the Beatles site. No, I didn't make that blue collage of Ringo pictures. I found it online. Glad you enjoyed that Beatles poster from 1966 I shared. I agree, it looks perfect for the 4th of July, and that's why I shared it. Notice how it even says "America is All 4 The Beatles" with the number 4. LOL! Glad you enjoyed the vintage Independence Day themed photos I shared here. Yes, I always post vintage festive photos for the holidays, but there won't be another holiday for a while, and who knows if this site will still be around by then anyway? :-(

Glad you made a new Gastro appointment. Good luck with that! Let me know how it goes! Feel better soon, my friend! :-)

I don't have any new deaths to report today but came across this sad news:

David Cassidy's ashes continue to remain in a storage facility until his last wish is fulfilled, most likely bound to be spread on race track in Saratoga Springs, New York soon.

Omg! That upsets me so much! I've been crying about it for days. I got physically ill watching the A&E documentary in June and now I feel sick again! This new month of July also got off to a rough start with this disturbing news. I think it's somewhat strange how they're considering spreading his ashes at a race track! I wonder if that really was his "last wish" and if his will even mentioned any funeral plans?? That really makes me sick to my stomach! I also think it's disgusting how his family & friends are treating his remains and legacy. Keeping his (and his mother's!) ashes in a storage unit?! They should be ashamed of themselves! At least there's a special horse race in his honor coming up soon, which is when and where the presumed ash spreading ceremony might take place. The horse racing event was organized by his fans though, and so were the 2 benches with his name engraved in them that were recently put up near the race track. I actually helped get those benches there earlier this year by donating to the online fundraiser. It was 100% funded by us fans and I was so glad when we finally reached our goal because we all felt that he definitely deserved some sort of special memorial location! We actually raised more than enough money, so they put up two benches! Now he has a special place for people to visit and pay respects, much like John Lennon's "Imagine" mosaic in Strawberry Fields. Saratoga Springs was the most appropriate place for the memorial since he loved to often visit there and was born in New York. I plan on visiting it someday but unfortunately can't make it to the upcoming ceremony event since I can't afford to fly to NY, especially not on such short notice. Oh well. I probably wouldn't enjoy that event anyway! I'm very distraught by all this and still can't get over the fact that he's gone! Nearly 8 months later and I'm still in just as much pain, if not even more, than last November! Ever since then, I've fallen into even deeper depression and my health has gone down too. Last Thanksgiving was the worst one I've ever had! I'm not in those extreme dark days anymore, but I still can't seem to truly enjoy things as much and feel like my life will never quite be the same again. That's why I can't even believe his own family didn't seem to care much about him in life or even now in death, when I'm just a fan and feel so affected and heartbroken!!! To make matter worse, gossip sites like TMZ are reporting about it, which is so disrespectful and in bad taste. Hopefully this situation with his ashes can be straightened out soon so he can finally Rest In Peace!

Hope to hear back from you soon, Beatlebob!

Have a great weekend! :-)
