Yes, I also am amazed how test results are now released online and so quickly!! It would be Great if it could be that way for your Dad's upcoming Colonoscopy!!! Yes, both You and your Dad should look into that!! I'm Sure All Hospitals have something like that!! Actually My Primary Care Doctor told me to join that website online for the Hospital network that she is affiliated with and where I go for my tests etc. So, maybe your Father's Doctor's office can tell you about their Hospital's Network website for getting test results, etc! Or, the Hospital can tell you how to join. My Primary Care Doctor gave me a handout about the website and it gave me info on how to join. Since nothing is scheduled yet for the Colonoscopy, now might be a good time to look into that. So, your Father could join their website before he goes for the test. Would be a good thing to do for yourself too! Yes, ask your Father about this!! You're So Welcome for mentioning it!!!

You're Welcome for keeping you updated on what's been going on with me lately!! And Thanks for saying no need to ever apologize for taking a little while to get back to you!! Thanks!!!!! I Also, appreciate the fact that you still take time every once in a while to stop by here even when you're busy too!! :-) Yeah, I Know you wish you could say the same for Ann, who sadly seems to have totally forgotten about us!! Sad!! :-(

I see you didn't watch the new Elvis Presley documentary on HBO called The Searcher since you spent nearly all Saturday long catching up on sleep after a busy week! LOL!!! They DO show it on HBO again!! Yes, it is very lengthy!! I watched Both Parts of it Finally on HBO On Demand. Part 1, is 1 hour and 50 minutes. Part 2 is 1 hour and 40 minutes. I watched it "On Demand" because every time I came across it on HBO it was already 20 minutes or so into the documentary! LOL! I see you think you only missed the first part of the documentary so far. And you'll definitely try to catch it next time!!! I Hope You see Both Parts SOON!!! I Really Enjoyed it!! I watched Both Parts twice by now! LOL! I Really Enjoyed the First Part!!! It was So Interesting!!! I Loved It!! I Enjoyed the Second Part too. But, to me about 50 percent of the Second Part was Sad, about things he went through! Overall I think it was a Great documentary!!! They could have went into more detail about certain things. Like mentioning more about Priscilla Presley and other things. But, it was a documentary mainly about Elvis Presley!! LOL! I liked the commentators they chose. Including Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen! After you see both parts we can talk more about it!! :-) I'm sure it will probably come out on DVD soon too. I'm Also, Really Looking Forward to seeing The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony on May 5 on HBO too!!! I see you heard they showed David Cassidy on the screen in the background during the In Memoriam segment!! I look forward to seeing that part too, even though it will also be sad!! I'm also Happy The Cars are finally in!!! :-) I see you saw some clips on YouTube of the ceremony and it made you so emotional!! :-( Especially when they mentioned Benjamin Orr!! :-( I agree, it would have been Great if Ann still participated in this site to discuss it!! :-( Well, You and I can discuss it after we see it!!

You're So Welcome for the BEST WISHES about your Father!!! I can imagine you were actually relieved that they postponed his Colonoscopy appointment until further notice!!! Especially since you're going through so much other stuff right now!!! I Understand That!!! It's just not the right time yet!!! I'm also Hoping when they do reschedule it, it will be during a time when you are less busy and less emotional!!! LOL!!! I Understand!!! Well, I told you the latest so far above about my gout problem. Will try my Best to follow their directions to avoid this from happening again!! And to get my Uric Acid Levels down! I'm So Glad to Hear You Are Doing Alright Now, My Friend!!!!!!! :-) Much better than you were on April 12, at least!!!! Thanks!!!! Well, I'm still having a hard time with my stomach problems and my Back aching on and off! Oh Well, I'm used to That!!! Thank You Too for Catching Up!!!! Please keep me posted about your Father!!! And everything else too!!! Thanks, Enjoy the Rest of this Month Too!!! :-) Hope we can catch up SOON, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for catching up! I thought the same thing, that actor Harry Anderson was only 65. Sad! Thanks for the extra info about his passing. I never watched "Night Court" much, but remember it being a funny show. Yes, I also remember R. Lee Ermey, mostly from "Full Metal Jacket". My veteran dad liked that movie. I read besides playing a Sgt in that film, he was also a Marine in real life, frequently went on morale tours for the military, and hosted a show about military weapons for The History Channel. I heard about Barbara Bush on the news too. I don't think any other former first ladies have passed away since Nancy Reagan in 2016. Wow, a 73 year marriage with 17 grand children! Age 92. What a life! RIP.

I finally took my David Cassidy table down today, after a week. I already miss it!
I wish I could decorate my whole room with him but it's unfortunately against my apartment rules to put posters all over the walls! LOL!!! The hospital finally called me father back and scheduled his Colonoscopy for April 30th. I have to accompany him then too. I hope it won't take too long, I hate it when I have to sit there for many hours just waiting around. Thanks for telling me about those home Colonoscopy tests! Wow! That must be new?? I've never even heard of it until now! I didn't know they could do those type of tests at home too! That's amazing! They decided to just go ahead and give him a regular procedure but handle everything gently including the amount of drowsy-ness they plan on inducing him when he undergoes the test. That's all. Thanks for the best wishes! I hope everything goes well, including his eventual results! When I recently went to the eye doctors, I was surprised to see they sent me an email saying my glasses were ready to be picked up. It even said the numbers of my visual prescription, glasses measurements, level of Astigmatism & near sighted-ness, Glaucoma warning, etc... Technology sure has improved in recent times! It was a bit scary knowing in such great detail how bad my eyesight is though! I didn't need to know all that, I already knew I was practically blind! LOL!!!!! My dad isn't too computer savvy so if they want him to sign up online to get his results, I'd have to help him out with that too. He barely knows how to log into Facebook or check his e-mail. LOL! It's a good thing they always call on the phone or send a letter in the mail about his hospital stuff!

That's funny how you eat most of the things your doctor said not to! My "diet" consists of mostly unhealthy stuff too! Lmao! That's too bad how the handout he gave you wasn't very detailed though, and you didn't find much better information through extensive online research either! I hope you can find better information & advice through Amazon's supplement product reviews and maybe even try renting a book at your local public library about Gouts and how to avoid them? Also take any advice the nurse at your mother's senior center can give too! "Web MD" is the site I go to most often to look up medical stuff. Hopefully you won't have another flare up with your foot and have to see him again anytime soon, and hopefully the next possible blood test will reveal more than just your Uric Acid levels are a bit higher than normal! That's great you're going to try changing your diet!
Good luck with everything! Feel better soon, my friend! :-)

I finally got a chance to watch both parts of "Elvis The Searcher" too! I did enjoy the documentary, like I knew I would! But I enjoy anything Elvis! LOL!!! I also watched it on HBO's "On Demand Programming". I usually watch everything On Demand since I'm either never home or too busy during usual scheduled airtimes! I liked the first part a bit more. Part 2 was sadder, and I noticed a mistake in it! When they were talking about a 1961 concert in Hawaii, they were actually showing footage from an 1957 Elvis show in Canada instead! This is an obvious mistake because a guy named Bill Black is onstage with him.  By that point, Bill was no longer playing with him. I was surprised such an official documentary would have any inaccuracy! Being somewhat of an Elvis expert, I noticed something was slightly off about that scene right away! LOL!!!!! I enjoyed the comments from some famous people like Bruce Springsteen and the now late Tom Petty. I thought there would be more on Priscilla Presley too, since she was one of the co-executive producers of that doc. But I guess there's not much to know about her other than she was once the luckiest girl on Earth! LOL!!! And it is a documentary about Elvis anyway. I also enjoyed the clips of The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony that are on YouTube. Ann Wilson of Heart did a great induction speech for The Moody Blues too. I can't wait to finally see the whole ceremony in full on HBO in May! Looking forward to discussing that with you too, when we both watch it soon! :-)

Of course I'll keep you updated on what goes on. Thanks for letting me know what's been going on with you. How is your mother doing lately? Hope we can catch up even more soon!

Have a fab weekend, my friend!!! :-)

Hey Sadie! Sorry for taking a while to catch back up with you!! Been busy with laundry, food shopping for my new diet, etc. Thank You for catching up!! Yes, it was Sad that Harry Anderson was only 65. :-( You're Welcome for the extra info about his passing!! I used to watch "Night Court" on and off when it aired on TV. I found it a pretty funny show. I see you also remember R. Lee Ermey, mostly from "Full Metal Jacket" too!! I can imagine your Veteran Dad liked that movie!! Thanks so much for sharing the info about R. Lee Ermey!! Very Interesting!!! I figured you heard about Barbara Bush on the news!! You're Right, that no other former first ladies have passed away since Nancy Reagan in 2016! Yeah, that's Really Something, that a 73 year marriage with 17 grand children! Passing at age 92! Really, What a life!!! RIP!

I see you finally took your David Cassidy table down, after a week. I'm sure you already miss it! :-( I'm sure you wish you could decorate your whole room with him!!! But, I see it's unfortunately against your apartment rules to put posters all over the walls!! LOL!!! If you could have, I'm sure you would have posters on your ceiling too!!! LOL!! I see the hospital finally called your Father back and scheduled his Colonoscopy for April 30th. I know you will be accompanying him then too! I also Hope it won't take too long!! I'm sure you hate it when you have to sit there for many hours just waiting around!! :-( I had to go through that a few times when my Mother had procedures done! You're Welcome for telling you about those home Colonoscopy tests!! Yeah, that's pretty COOL!! But, they aren't as good or extensive as having a Colonoscopy done. I've been seeing commercials on TV for that home Colonoscopy test for about 2 years now. Before I seen those ads on TV I also didn't know they could do those type of tests at home too!! Sure is Amazing! I see they decided to just go ahead and give him a regular procedure but handle everything gently, including the amount of drowsy-ness they plan on inducing him with when he undergoes the test. I'm Glad to hear That!!! That they're going to handle everything gently!! And be careful about the amount of drowsy-ness they plan on inducing him with when he undergoes the test!!! They are being very careful with him during the whole procedure!! That's GREAT!! :-) Sounds like he's in Good Hands then!! You're Welcome for the Best Wishes!!! I Sure Hope Everything will go well too!!! Including his eventual results!!!! BEST WISHES to your Father on April 30th!!! I'm Sure you were surprised when they sent you an email saying your glasses were ready to be picked up! And it even included the numbers of your visual prescription, glasses measurements, level of Astigmatism & near sighted-ness, Glaucoma warning, etc!!! WOW!!! Yes, technology sure has improved in recent times!!! But, I can imagine it was a bit scary knowing in such great detail how bad your eyesight is!! :-( Yeah, you really didn't need to know about All of that!! But, you did already know you were practically blind! LOL!!!!! I get scared sometimes when I get those results for tests on that website too!! Some things, sometimes look scary! But, afterwards when I talk to my Doctor about those things, she eases my mind some! So, I understand!! From what you said here I see your Father isn't too computer savvy!! LOL!! I see you have to help him log into Facebook and check his e-mail. So, Yes it is a Good Thing that they always call on the phone or send a letter in the mail about his hospital stuff!!! :-) There are a lot of people out there around his age that aren't that computer savvy!! Thanks goodness for phone calls and plain old mail!! LOL!! ;-)

Yeah, that handout my Podiatrist gave me, have most of the things to avoid eating, that I always Do Eat!!! LOL!!! I see your "diet" consists of mostly unhealthy stuff too!! LMAO!!!!! I see we Both need some diet changes!! ;-) Thanks!!!! I did do further research online and did find some more detailed information on Gout diets!! I wrote some things down that I should get to eat!! At least that's a start. I'll look some more when I can. But, I got some of the stuff that I wrote down over the weekend. Actually the stuff isn't that bad that I'm eating so far!! LOL!! Just have to get used to the changes, and not get tempted to eat the things that I Miss!! That Nurse at my Mother's Senior Center, was no help at all!! LOL!!! :-( I'll first give the diet changes a chance. Then I'll look into Amazon's supplement product reviews, if I find one that's worth trying! Will see? Thanks for the advice!!! Yes, hopefully I won't have another flare up with my foot and have to see the podiatrist again anytime soon!!! Also, hopefully the next possible blood test will show that my Uric Acid levels went lower!!! The Uric Acid tests Just show the Uric Acid Levels I have at a given time. That's All! After being on my new diet, IF my Uric Acid Levels are the Same or Higher, then we will have to look into further things to see what else may be causing that. Hopefully the Diet will do the Trick!!! I'm Hoping!!! My stomach has been a little more upset than usual since I started changing my diet. But, that's understandable. My stomach is not used to having Better Food!!! LOL!!! In time Hopefully my stomach will get used to this change!! Thanks So Much for the Good Luck Wishes with everything, My Friend!!!! Hopefully I'll start feeling better soon!!! :-)

I'm Glad you Finally got a chance to watch both parts of "Elvis The Searcher" too!!! :-) I'm Glad that you Enjoyed the documentary, like you knew you would!! But, you Enjoy Anything Elvis!!! LOL!!!! ;-) I see you also watched it on HBO's "On Demand Programming"! I also watch most things On Demand too, for the same reasons you mentioned!!! Yes, I also liked the First part Better too!! Yes, Part 2 was sadder!! I see you noticed a Mistake in it!!! I see!!! Thanks for pointing that part out to me!! You Sure Know your Elvis Stuff!!!! LOL!!! :-) I wouldn't have known that!!! You are an Elvis Expert!!! :-) I'm sure you were surprised that such an official documentary would have any inaccuracy like that!!! I see you noticed that right away!!! LOL!! I also enjoyed the comments from some famous people like Bruce Springsteen and the now late Tom Petty!! I see you also thought there would be more on Priscilla Presley too!
"re: But I guess there's not much to know about her other than she was once the luckiest girl on Earth! LOL!!!" LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-) And yes, it is a documentary about Elvis anyway! I really enjoyed his Early Hits!! And also Love his 1968 Comeback Special!!! Fantastic!!!! Pure Elvis!!!! A very interesting documentary over all!!! Except for that Mistake you pointed out!! LOL!!! ;-) Like Priscilla Presley said, he was always "Searching"!! Always searching for that Special Sound, that only he could make His Own!! He took things from so many different music influences since the age of 14!! Blues, rhythm & blues, gospel, country & western, hillbilly, and bluegrass and more! Kept working on those sounds and movements, till he went to Sam Phillips at Sun Records. Finally after trying some cuts in the studio to no avail, he went into a sped-up version of "That’s All Right", and the rest is History!!! :-) "The King"!! :-)

I see you really enjoyed the clips of The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony that are on YouTube!! :-) I also, can't wait to finally see the whole ceremony in full on HBO in May!!!! Same Here, My Friend!! I'm also, Looking forward to discussing that with you too, when we both watch it soon!!! :-)

So Glad we Always manage to keep each other updated on what's going on!!!!! :-) Thank You Too, My Friend!!! My Mother is hanging in there, the best she can!!! Thanks!! She has so many ailments daily it's hard to keep up with them all. Such is life! This Thursday I see my Shrink in NYC. Not looking forward to that long Trip both ways!! Oh Well. Hope we can catch up even more SOON!!!!

Thanks!!! I Hope You have a FAB Week, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! No problem! I've been busy lately too. That's great how you now do grocery shopping with your new diet in mind! Whenever I eat salads I usually get upset stomach too.
It's funny how fruits & vegetables are actually healthy foods but they can still make you feel sick. How ironic. LOL!!! Diets can be difficult at first, but your body will get used to it eventually! Just hang in there and never give up! :-)

I read on the New York Times website today that Barbara Bush's husband George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized! The headline said "The World Wonders: Is It a Broken Heart?" I think so! I believe that's why Debbie Reynolds died, of a broken heart over Carrie Fisher. It's both sad and beautiful when people die shortly after the death of a loved one. It's almost as if their deceased friend or relative misses them and wants them near!

Speaking of passings, Rest In Peace to actor Verne Troyer (1969-2018)

I always enjoyed the "Austin Powers" series, because of their retro 1960s & 70s theme.
I noticed he was only 49. The exact cause of death is unknown yet, but most are suspecting either suicide or health complications from his dwarf condition. RIP "Mini-Me"!

I was wondering why that new Elvis documentary was called "The Searcher". Thank you for that cool quote from Priscilla Presley! And thanks for calling me an Elvis expert! Some people on Facebook also noticed that same mistake. I guess it's not that big of a deal though, since most people who watch that documentary won't even notice it, like you didn't. LOL! I also love his 1968 Comeback Special!!! The fact that he experimented with so many different musical influences, made so much music & movies, and served our country is certainly why he is known as "The King"!

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony on TV is coming soon! May 5 is almost here! YAY!!!! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it, and how your appointment on Thursday goes. Best wishes with that, and dealing with your mother's daily ailments! Thanks for the best wishes on my father's Colonoscopy. He is all ready to go! We're even bringing slippers because the hospital recommended to do so. LOL!!! It does get boring in the waiting room but I'll be bringing a small Beatles book along to read in the meantime! Maybe you should do the same on your long trip to the shrink's office in New York City soon? LOL!!! Thanks for letting me know you won't be online on April 26, I won't be here on April 30. Thank you for catching up! Hope to hear from you again soon! Have a great month of May, my friend! :-)

Hey Sadie! Thanks!! I'm sure you've been busy lately too! Yeah, with trying to stick to this new diet change. When going grocery shopping I only pick out food now that I'm supposed to eat! It's sad that when you eat salads you usually get an upset stomach too!! :-( Yes, it is funny how fruits & vegetables are actually healthy foods, but they can still make you feel sick!! :-( I find that Ironic too!! I see that you read on the New York Times website that Barbara Bush's husband George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized! And the headline said "The World Wonders: Is It a Broken Heart?" I also, think so too!! I've been seeing similar statements on the TV news about George H.W. Bush, with people saying "Is it from a Broken Heart?". Since he winded up in the hospital, shortly after Barbara Bush's funeral. I also, believe that's why Debbie Reynolds died, of a broken heart over Carrie Fisher!! I Agree!! It is Both sad and beautiful when people die shortly after the death of a loved one!! Sure seems that it's almost as if their deceased friend or relative misses them and wants them near!! George H.W. Bush has been with Barbara Bush for over 70 years! People that know them very well believe that he just wants to be with her again!!

Yes, I heard about his passing too! Actor Verne Troyer (1969-2018) I mainly remember him as Mini-Me in the Austin Powers film series too. I enjoyed the "Austin Powers" series, because of their retro 1960s & 70s theme, as well! Sad that he died at the age of 49!! :-( "Verne Troyer’s cause of death is being investigated, the Los Angeles Coroner’s office confirms that "Verne Troyer was admitted into the hospital with a high level of alcohol in his system, where he passed out and became unconscious and he passed away". Yes, I also heard that the Exact cause of death is unknown yet, but most are suspecting either suicide or health complications from his dwarf condition. Very SAD! :-( RIP "Mini-Me"!

I too was wondering at first why that new Elvis documentary was called "The Searcher"? You're Welcome for that cool quote from Priscilla Presley!! And You're Welcome for calling you an Elvis expert!! :-) You sure know a lot about Elvis!! I see that some people on Facebook also noticed that same mistake. (The fact that he experimented with so many different musical influences, made so much music & movies, and served our country is certainly why he is known as "The King"!)

You're So Right about that!!! Also, that he was a major musical influence on so many others that came after him!! Including The Beatles!! The Beatles mentioned that they loved the pre-army Elvis mainly.

"No other recording artist influenced the young Beatles quite as much as Elvis Presley. In Lennon's own words: "When I heard "Heartbreak Hotel", it was the end for me. ... Once I heard it and got into it, that was life, there was no other thing. I thought of nothing else but rock 'n' roll". Paul concurs: "There was an advert for 'Heartbreak Hotel'. Elvis looked so great: 'That's him, that's him - the Messiah has arrived!' Then when we heard the song, there was the proof. That was followed by his first album, which I still love the best of all his records. It was so fantastic we played it endlessly and tried to learn it all. Everything we did was based on that album". Throughout the Quarrymen/Beatles' existence, they played a total of at least 31 Elvis Presley tunes during in their live shows". :-)

YAY!!!! Yes, the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony on TV is coming soon!! May 5 is almost here!! :-) I also, can't wait to hear your thoughts on it too!!! And Thanks!! I'll let you know how my appointment with my Shrink on Thursday went!! Thanks for the Best Wishes!! I'm sure the appointment will go Alright!! It's just that long trip there and back that takes so long, is what I hate!! Not looking forward to Tomorrow, because of that!! And Thanks for the Best Wishes with dealing with my Mother's daily ailments!!! It's So Sad that she has so many ailments!! :-( But, I'm Glad to help her, the Best I can!! She has always been there for me! You're So Welcome for the Best Wishes with your Father's Colonoscopy!!! It's good that he's all ready to go!! I see that you're even bringing slippers because the hospital recommended it! LOL!! Yeah, I know it gets boring in the waiting room!! Glad that you'll be bringing a small Beatles book along to read in the meantime!! Yeah, maybe I should do the same on my long trip to the Shrink's office in New York City tomorrow. LOL!! Since I only see him once a month, I get a seat on the bus next to the window, and enjoy looking at the sites in the city during that long ride! If I don't fall asleep, that is! LOL!!

You're Welcome for letting you know I won't be online Tomorrow! I know you won't be here on April 30th too!! Thanks for letting me know too!! Again, BEST WISHES to your Father and You on Monday April 30th!!! I Hope Everything goes Alright!! And I Hope the Results Will be Good Too!!!!

I was online for while yesterday, and my Internet started crashing after being on for an hour!! I kept checking all the wires and kept rebooting my modem and computer. And it kept happening!! Then I had to get off the computer. I was thinking I'll be in for a lot of FUN tomorrow (Today) if the same thing happened again. That I would have to spend a long time on the phone with tech support!! But, luckily so far so good Today!! Seems to be working Alright!! :-) Maybe their servers were messed up yesterday? Hopefully that won't happen again!!

Thank You Too for catching up!!! I Hope to hear from you Soon again Too!!! Thanks!!! Hope you have a great month of May too, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Sadie! I remember you saying to let you know how my appointment on Thursday went. Seeing my Shrink went Well yesterday. But, the trip there and back took so long as usual! I left at 12:15 to go there and didn't get back home till after 5 PM! So, my usual 35 to 40 minute visit with my Shrink, Actually took over 5 hours. LOL!! Actually even though the traffic going home was slow as usual. This time it wasn't that bad. I usually get home later than I did yesterday!! Was surprising! WOW!! Medicaid is So Screwed Up!!! My Shrink showed me a statement he got from them. They actually want Him to send Them money for my visit!!! WTF??? He said they pay him hardly nothing for my visits to see him!! But, they want him to send Them money for my visits!!! That's totally unbelievable!!!! He Hates Medicaid and won't send them a check of course!! And doesn't have the time to see WHY this is happening. He said it would take him many hours to try to straighten out this ridiculous mess. So, he just ignores it!! Can you believe that Crazy Crap from Medicaid? They are So Screwed Up!!! LOL!!

Tomorrow is Laundry FUN, then need a few things from the store. Might take my cat to get her nails cut on Sunday. Her nails are getting way too long again!! If not Sunday, then will have to take her sometime next week!!

I Hope your day is going Okay!! And Hope You have a FAB weekend!!

Just wanted to wish You and your Father the BEST on Monday!!!!!! From what you told me here, it looks like they will take good care of him during the test!!! It's Good that you'll be bringing slippers along with you too!! I'm Glad that you'll be bringing a small Beatles book along to read, while waiting in the waiting room! Hope you both won't be there too long!!! And Hope ALL goes Well!!! And Hopefully you'll get the results back Soon!! Hoping the Results will show Everything is Alright!!! I Look forward to hearing from you to let me know how everything went!! BEST WISHES!!! Hope we can catch up SOON!!!

Have a FAB Day and a FAB Weekend, My Friend!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for sharing those Beatles quotes about Elvis! I knew that he, Buddy Holly, and some other 1950s artists were a great influence on them, but their own style was truly original and outstanding! :-)

I understand how it usually takes several hours to get back home after your shrink appointment. I see why you only go once a month! There's usually a long wait too, whenever I go to an appointment, with all the traveling back and forth. Wow! Not only is Medicaid trying to charge you, but they're also charging your shrink too? LOL!!!! That really is screwed up the way that system works now! WTF?? Hopefully soon it will all be straightened out once and for all! My father has Medicaid insurance too. After hearing what they've been doing to you lately, I really hope they won't give him any payment problems regarding his Colonoscopy appointment on Monday! If it wasn't for his medical insurance, we wouldn't even be able to afford that test!!! I can't wait til it's over and done with. I'm so ready for May! Yes, you really should take your cat to get her nails cut soon. You don't want another scratching disaster to happen. LOL! I'll be having a busy weekend too, also with doing some Laundry and getting ready for my dad's appointment and a new month. We still need a few things from the store too. The hospital said he's supposed to drink Gatorade/Powerade before the test. So we have to go get that. I'll try to catch up with you as soon as possible though! If not sometime over this weekend, I should be online Tuesday the first for sure. Glad your shrink appointment went well! I think your shrink sounds like a nice guy, especially since Medicaid doesn't even pay him much per visit and he's even willing to do phone sessions with you sometimes. It's too bad his office is so far away though. I'm glad he still sees you eventhough Medicaid keeps on sending him crazy letters like that. That's smart of him to not send them any checks or anything! That would be ridiculous! They're supposed to be paying HIM! LMAO!

I am doing okay. Thanks for the best wishes about my father! My mother's being paranoid and fearing he might die on the table during the procedure. I'm not that worried though. I also feel he's in good hands! I believe his eventual results will be clear too. He probably just has IBS.

Before I go, I want to say Rest In Peace to Actress / Painter Kristin Harmon, who passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening at age 73.  Just like Priscilla Presley, I also thought "Kris" was once the luckiest girl in the world because she was married to Ricky Nelson! I remember when she joined the cast of the Ozzie & Harriet show in the later seasons and how her character was Rick's wife just like in real life. They had 4 children together, the three sons are musicians and the daughter is an actress. RIP!

Beatlebob, thanks for catching up!

I hope your computer problems went away so we can catch up even more soon!

Have a fab month of May, my friend! :-)

Hey Sadie! You're Welcome for sharing those Beatles quotes about Elvis!! Even though I'm sure you've seen those quotes already. ;-) And some of those quotes are on The Beatles Anthology. Just thought they were interesting. Yes, I also knew that Elvis, Buddy Holly, and some other 1950's artists were a great influence on The Beatles! And Yes, just like Elvis, their own style sure was truly original and outstanding!!! :-)

Yes, that is the main reason why I see my Shrink only once a month!!! I know you Understand! I see there's usually a long wait too, whenever you go to an appointment, with all the traveling back and forth!! :-( I wish our Doctors were Closer to us!! Yeah, it's unreal that Medicaid charges me for Medicaid coverage, but they're also trying to get my Shrink to pay them for seeing me too!?!? LMAO!!!! Sure Is Screwed Up!!!! It's got be some kind of Mistake!!! I wouldn't think that's the Normal way that system works now!!! How could they charge a Doctor for My visits?? LOL!!!! No Doctor would go for That!!! He knows it's just a screwed up mistake, that's why he just ignores those statements he gets!! CRAZY!!! LOL! Hopefully he can have his girl that works there, try to straighten that mess out with them!! Yesterday I went to the drug store to pick up my two prescriptions that my Shrink sent them. They Only had one? He sends the prescriptions on his computer to them every time. I Guess that the other prescription didn't go through? Some kind of computer error? This is the First time this happened! The druggist told me he didn't see my other prescription on his computer. And he knows I Always get the two prescriptions! So, he sent my Doctor's office an email about it. I'll try calling my Doctor starting tomorrow to see if he can send the other prescription to them again!! It's always something!! LOL!! I see your Father has Medicaid insurance too. I can understand your concern after hearing what they've been doing to me lately!! I Also Hope they Won't give him any payment problems, regarding his Colonoscopy appointment on Monday!!!! Medicaid screws up a lot!! But, not all the time with everything!!! So, Hopefully you don't have to worry about That!!! I've had Colonoscopy tests done before, and I never had any payment problems!! So, I'm sure all will go Okay with that!! Sure, I understand if it wasn't for his medical insurance, he wouldn't even be able to afford that test!!! The same goes for me, with seeing Doctors, and having tests done!!! I'm sure you can't wait till it's over and done with!!! I'm also, so ready for May!! Since we had to laundry and go to the stores yesterday, we are just too beat to take my cat to have her nails cut today!!! Will call them and make an appointment to bring her there later this week!! Will certainly take her by Friday!!! I Really don't want another scratching disaster to happen!!!! LOL!! I see you're having a busy weekend too!!! Doing some Laundry and getting ready for your Father's appointment, and a new month! I see you still need a few things from the store too! I see that the hospital said he's supposed to drink Gatorade/Powerade before the test. So, you have to get that too!! Hopefully we can catch up on Tuesday, My Friend!!! I look forward to catching back up with you soon!!! I know that you're busy this weekend!!

Thanks!! Yes, my Shrink appointment did go well!! My Shrink is a Very Nice Guy!!! Yes, especially since Medicaid doesn't even pay him much per visit and he's even willing to do phone sessions with me sometimes!! I've been seeing him for over 20 years now. He's a Great person!!! The only bad thing about seeing him is the long trip!! I Wish his office was closer to me. Oh well. I'm also, Glad that he still sees me even though Medicaid keeps on sending him crazy letters like that!!! But, he knows that isn't my fault!! He knows Medicaid can do Crazy things sometimes!! It sure is Smart of him to not send them any checks!!! That Sure would be Ridiculous!!! They're supposed to be paying HIM!!!!!! LMAO!!!!! Unreal!!!!

I'm Glad that You are doing Okay, My Friend!!! :-) You're So Welcome for the Best Wishes about your Father!!! I'm Sorry to hear that your Mother's being paranoid, and fearing he might die on the table during the procedure!!! :-( I'm Glad You're Not worried though!! I'm So Glad you also feel he's in good hands!!!! And also, believe his eventual results will be clear too!!! I Feel the same way about that he seems to be in good hands and his results most likely will be clear too!!! :-) Maybe, he just has IBS. Well, Hopefully the results will come in Soon!!! I'm Sure he will be Alright!!! Again, BEST WISHES Tomorrow!!!!! Let me know how everything went!!!

Oh, I see yet another Actress passed away!! :-(

"Sharon Kristin Nelson (June 25, 1945 - April 26, 2018) is an American primitive painter, actress and author, once married to the actor and musician Ricky Nelson.

The daughter of the American football star Tom Harmon and the actress Elyse Knox, she is the older sister of model-actress Kelly Harmon and actor Mark Harmon. She married Nelson in 1963 and joined their family television show. The couple had four children, but their extravagant lifestyle forced Nelson to tour for long periods, placing great pressure on the marriage. A long-fought divorce was finally granted before Rick Nelson's death in an air-crash in 1985.

In 1988, she married Mark Tinker, who encouraged her to paint. Her brightly colored primitives found favor with Jacqueline Kennedy and Mia Farrow, among other celebrities, and they form the basis of her coffee-table autobiography Out of My Mind."

I mainly know Mark Harmon from NCIS and some movie and TV roles.

I see just like Priscilla Presley, You also thought "Kris" was once the luckiest girl in the world because she was married to Ricky Nelson!!!! ;-) I see you remember when she joined the cast of the Ozzie & Harriet show in the later seasons, and how her character was Rick's wife just like in real life!!! And that hey had 4 children together, the three sons are musicians and the daughter is an actress.

I Know you met Two of her sons in person!!! :-) And I remember you used to be jealous of her because of Ricky!! LOL!! ;-)

RIP to Her!!

Sadie, Thank You Too, for catching up!!!!!
Thanks!!! So far since that day I haven't experienced that problem I had with my Internet anymore!!! :-)

I Hope we can catch up more SOON too, My Friend!!! Either Hopefully Tuesday, or as soon as we can!!!

BEST WISHES to Your Father and You Tomorrow!!!!!

Thanks!!!! I Hope You Also Have a FAB Month of May, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! I figured some of those quotes were from The Beatles Anthology. I have the entire set of videos on both DVD and VHS and some of the Anthology CDs & cassette tapes but I never owned the companion book. I've read it though. I rented the silver hardcover version from my local public library. I always wanted to buy it and almost did one day at a Barnes & Noble store when it was on sale. But it was the black paperback version. I wish I had The Beatles Anthology book to keep me busy reading while I wait for my father's Colonoscopy to finish. I'd probably get some weird stares from people in the hospital if I brought such a big, coffee table sized book to read though. LOL!!!

I believe everything you've been going through lately with Medicaid is just silly mistakes too! There's no way that could be their new rules. Charging the actual patient and doctor for everything?? That makes no sense! LOL!!!!!

Hopefully you will get your other medicine soon! That's great how your Pharmacy knows what particular Medication and amount of it you always get and that you're very familiar with your shrink as well. Wow! You've been seeing him for a very long time! I'm glad he's a nice person and doesn't blame you at all for the recent Medicaid problems! :-)

I spent all Saturday shopping and doing Laundry too. My dad spent all Sunday taking his laxatives that he mixes with Gatorade. His appointment is at 7 AM on Monday. I'm not a morning person. I hate waking up so early! But it's required that he has someone to accompany him, and with my mother in bad shape, I have to go with him. Thanks for all the best wishes! Now my mother isn't that worried about his appointment and neither am I. He's not even anxious anymore, since we read that most of the time it's a quick, painless procedure. The preparation time when you can't eat or drink anything for 24 hours other than their special liquid and go to the bathroom often is actually worse than the actual exam. Thanks for all the best wishes! I'll let you know how that goes and what his test results will be!

Thank you for the information about Kristin Harmon Nelson. I am surprised how sad I felt when I heard she recently passed away, since I've always been super jealous of her! LOL!!! I always wanted to be her and Priscilla Presley! When I first heard her last name was "Harmon", I wondered if there was any relation to actor Mark Harmon. I like "NCIS" too! That's awesome! Yes I did meet her twin sons a few years ago. They were surprised how much I knew about Rick. One of them even said "Wow!" LOL! They do an amazing tribute to Ricky show that I've seen live several times. Roy Orbison's sons do the same. They have a show called "Roy's Boys". I have also briefly spoken to Rick's other children on Facebook a few years ago too. It was such an honor to come in contact with them since they are from two very famous families and are also famous themselves! :-)

Glad to hear that your Internet is working fine again! Sometimes my Internet connection and/or computer suddenly act up too. I just wait a little while and it usually fixes up by itself. Most of the time the problem is just due to bad weather.

Well I have to go now. Remember to watch The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on HBO on the 5th!

Have a fab month of May, my friend!!!! :-)

Hey Sadie! I Hope Everything went Alright Yesterday!!!! I'm Sure it did!! When you can let me know how everything went!!!

I'm sure you remembered some of those quotes from The Beatles Anthology!! ;-) That's Great that you have the entire set of videos on both DVD and VHS and some of the Anthology CDs & cassette tapes!!! :-) I know you had the entire set on DVD. I have the 4 DVD set in 8 parts, that I bought in 2003. When it first aired in 1995 on TV I recorded it on VHS tapes. And made a second copy of it too. I never owned the Anthology CD's, though. I also, never owned the companion book. I see you read it though. Cool that you rented the silver hardcover version from your local public library!! I'm sure you always wanted to buy it!! And almost did one day at a Barnes & Noble store when it was on sale. But, it was only the black paperback version. :-( Yeah, that would have been nice if you had the silver hardcover book to keep you busy reading while you wait for your Father's Colonoscopy to finish!! But yeah, I'm sure you would probably get some weird stares from people in the hospital if you brought such a big, coffee table sized book to read!!! LOL!!!!! ;-)

Yes, everything I've been going through lately with Medicaid, is Surely just some Stupid mistakes!! It's just so Frustrating and Nerve Racking that I have to go through that, though!! And it pisses my Shrink off that he has to go through it too!! Really!!! There is No Way that could be their new rules!!! LOL!! With charging the actual patient and doctor for everything!?!? That makes no sense at all!!! LOL!!!!!

Thanks!!! I finally got a hold of my Shrink yesterday around 4 PM. I told him what happened and he said he'll straighten it out later on. He was with a patient when I called. I called my drugstore this morning and they said they got the other prescription and it will ready later today!! :-) So, I'll pick it up later!! Yeah, it is Great that my Pharmacy knows what particular Medication and amount of it I always get!! That's why they sent him an email about the one missing prescription, when I was there. And yes, it's also Great that I'm very familiar with my Shrink as well!! Yeah, I sure have been seeing him for a long time!!! My Uncle who passed away around 7 years ago, was seeing him for a very long time too. I was looking for a new Shrink and my Uncle told me to see him! My Uncle thought he was Great too!! That's how I found out about my Shrink. Thanks!!! Yeah, it's Great that he's a nice person and doesn't blame me at all for the recent Medicaid problems!!! :-) He knows how Crazy Medicaid can be sometimes!!

I see you spent all Saturday shopping and doing Laundry too!! Always FUN!! :-( And I see your Dad spent all Sunday taking his laxatives that he mixes with Gatorade. That's Always FUN too!! :-( I see his appointment was at 7 AM yesterday! Well, they usually try to make the appointment early so the patient doesn't have to wait too long for the test, after all of that Horrible preparation for the test!! I see you're not a morning person, and Hate waking up so early!! :-( And I'm sure you had to get up Really Early to be there in time for the 7 AM appointment!! :-( Yes, I know it's required that he has someone to accompany him!!! My Mother went with me when I had those done. And with your Mother being in bad shape, You had to go with him!! You're So Welcome for all the Best Wishes!! I'm So Glad to hear that now your Mother isn't that worried about his appointment and neither are you!!! I'm Glad to hear that your Father isn't even anxious anymore, since you all read that most of the time it's a quick, painless procedure!! I'm Sure that helped before going there yesterday!!! Yes, I know all about That!! The preparation time when you can't eat or drink anything for 24 hours other than their special liquid and go to the bathroom often is Actually Worse than the Actual Exam!!! That's the Worst part of the Exam!!! I Hate all of that preparation!!! :-( Again, You're So Welcome for the Best Wishes, My Friend!! When you can let me know how everything went!! And what his test results will be!!! I Hope you get the Results SOON!!! And Hope All is Alright!!!

You're Welcome for the information about Kristin Harmon Nelson!! I'm also, surprised how sad you felt when you heard she recently passed away!! Since you've always been super jealous of her!!! LOL!!!! ;-) I Know you always wanted to be her and Priscilla Presley!! I also, wondered if there was any relation to actor Mark Harmon, when you posted her name here!! Than I looked up that information. I see You also like "NCIS"!! :-) COOL!! Yes, I remember when you met her twin sons, they were Really Surprised how much you knew about Rick!!! And family members too!!! :-) I can imagine one of them said "WOW!!! LOL!!! It's so Cool that they do an amazing tribute to Ricky show that you've seen live several times!!! I didn't know that Roy Orbison's sons do the same thing? COOL!! That they have a show called "Roy's Boys"!! Thanks for letting me know that!! Sounds COOL!! I think I remember you telling me that you also briefly spoken to Rick's other children on Facebook a few years ago too. :-) I'm Sure it's such an Honor for you to come in contact with them, since they are from two very famous families and are also famous themselves!!!! That's Fantastic!! :-)

Thanks My Friend!!! I'm also, Glad that my Internet is working fine again!!! I remember you telling me that sometimes your Internet connection and/or computer suddenly acts up too!! :-( It's Cool that just waiting a little while, it usually fixes up by itself!! That's Great!!! And that most of the time the problem is just due to bad weather. Sometimes bad weather makes mine act up too! And with the Internet problems, sometimes it's also due to them having Server Issues! As long as we can get it working again, is the main thing!! :-)

Thanks!!! I'll Sure Remember to watch The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on HBO on the 5th!!! :-)

I Hope Everything went Alright Yesterday!!! I'm sure you had a long day!! When you can, let me know how everything went!!!

Hope to catch up SOON!!!

Thanks!!! Hope You have a FAB month of May too, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Sadie! I was Hoping to hear from you by now! But, this morning on NBC News I seen that parts of Kansas and near by areas had Severe Weather on Tuesday and more Severe weather is forecasted for Today and Tomorrow Too!!! Tornadoes and Very Bad Storms!! :-( I also, found this information on the Internet today:
"The 19 tornado reports as of just after 8 p.m. Tuesday included 14 in Kansas.
More severe weather, including tornadoes, is expected in parts of Kansas both Wednesday and Thursday.
More than 10,000 square miles of far northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri - including St. Joseph, Mo., and Leavenworth and Atchison in Kansas - are already in a moderate risk for severe weather on Thursday. Another 88,000 square miles, including Kansas City, Oklahoma City and Wichita, face an enhanced risk of severe weather."
And other areas of Kansas too!! :-(

I just Hope And Pray You and your Parents are Alright!!!!!! I HOPE where You are the weather isn't as Bad!!! I Know that Kansas is prone to this type of Severe Weather!! And I'm sure you are Safe!! But, I'm Still worried about You, from hearing about this!!! :-( I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AND YOUR PARENTS TOO, WITH RIDING OUT THESE STORMS!!!!! I HOPE You are Safe, and just Busy with things!!!

I also, HOPE Everything went Alright on Monday!!!!! Hope your Father is doing Well!!!! I Know you will let me know how everything went, when you can!!!

We are having a mini heat wave Here. It's going to be 87 degrees Today. And in the High 80's tomorrow and Friday too!! YUK!!! I'm glad I uncovered our window A/C's the other day and cleaned them out!! LOL!!

BEST WISHES about Everything!!!!!!! Hope You Are Safe!!! Hope to hear from you SOON!!!!!!

Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for all the concern and best wishes! Sorry it took me a little while to respond. The Internet was down in my apartment for about a day and a half, due to (you guessed it!) the bad weather! I almost went to the local public library to use their computers and catch up with you but the thunderstorms were too bad to try traveling anywhere and the library's Internet connection was probably also temporarily down anyway. So I've been stuck at home for a little bit, just like I did on those awful snow days this past winter. It feels so good to finally be able to go back outside again! It was boring staying in, especially with no Internet. LOL! There was a huge lightning bolt that struck near our trash can! It was so bright the whole parking lot was illuminated for a few seconds, and there was a huge bang noise when it hit! Scary and cool at the same time! LOL!!! It's funny how last time we talked I mentioned whenever the weather is bad, my Internet connection is usually down, and that's exactly what happened shortly after! Wow, I must be psychic or something? LOL!!!! I've been used to tornadoes my whole life though, due to living in Kansas, just like Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz! LOL! I wasn't that surprised a storm started, a transition from this terrible winter to springtime just wouldn't be complete without horrible rain first. LOL! I'm so relieved that my particular area didn't get struck as badly as other parts of the state. Even some parts of Missouri were affected too. Other than that crazy big lightning bolt which did a bit of damage to the trash can in the parking lot, no actual people or apartments in my complex were harmed. I'm glad all my neighbors seemed to stay inside during the storm too. It was dangerous out there with lightning striking all over the place! Besides that big bolt, I watched several other smaller ones from my window. On the local news there were several distraught people, fallen trees and severed power lines in some parts of Kansas and Missouri. Yikes! I feel lucky that didn't happen to me! Just like BeatleNut9 last year with the Houston hurricane! She was lucky enough to be safe from harm too! I'm glad we were able to get my father's Colonoscopy done just in time before that storm hit. The appointment went much faster and easier than expected and his results came out all clear! I was right when I told my mother there was nothing to worry about! We don't have a family history of colon cancer but it's better to be safe than sorry. They said he won't need another exam for the next 10 years! Wow!! Hopefully he will still be alive by then. Both of my parents are getting older, and I don't want either of them to go anytime soon. I know you feel the same way about your mother. Sorry to hear that Uncle of yours is no longer around. I'm sure you miss him! That's sweet how he recommended your shrink to you, and that your last appointment with him went well and the pharmacy problem is now straightened out. Great!!! Now all we need is for Medicaid to get it's crazy act together once and for all and stop charging people when it's supposed to be covering things instead! LMAO!

All this talk of the Beatles Anthology is giving me the urge to watch it again soon! It's been a while since I last saw it. I also bought the DVDs when they first came out in 2003. BeatleNut bought the VHS set when it first came out in the 90s, and also watched the series as it originally aired on TV. Which part is your favorite? I like Part 3 and 4 most because that's my favorite era of the band, the mid 1960s. The whole series is amazing though! I love hearing Paul, Ringo, and George's insight and commentary on things. Sad how John wasn't around for it though. The video footage of them recording the songs "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love" in the studio are so sad! It just feels like something is really missing without John there to contribute!!! :-(   Those 2 songs still came out really well and authentic Beatles sounding. Jeff Lynne from ELO did a good job producing! Speaking of Rick Nelson too, on Tuesday the 8th is his birthday, so I'll be celebrating by listening to his music and watching his movies & TV show! :-)

Did you hear about Bill Cosby in the news?? I'm glad justice is finally being served! There's sadly too many stories making news lately about sexual harassment, especially in show business! I used to like some of his movies, TV shows, and cartoon. But not anymore! LOL!

That's good you got your Air Condition units all cleaned up and ready to go since it's going to be much warmer from now on in your area! Wow! 87 degrees? It's summertime already in New York?? I envy you! Yes you're right, Kansas is very prone to severe weather! Not even my umbrella is helping much to keep me dry from all these crazy down pours lately! I should be the one saying YUCK! LOL!!!

Well thanks for catching up! My father is doing much better now. Thanks for asking! If anything good came out of the recent bad weather, it gave him a chance to stay in for a few days which is what the doctors recommended he do after his Colonoscopy anyway. I hope YOUR Internet is working well now, and we can catch up even more soon! I'm glad that the month of May is finally here, although it got off to a crazy start for me! LOL!!!! Have a fab week, my friend!!! :-)
