I'm Sorry to hear about this too!! :-( Thanks for posting this!! And Thanks for posting the Video too!! Great Song!! Yes, they had some Good Songs!!
He sadly passed away today at only age 67.  RIP Walter Becker  :-(     I found this:

"Becker missed Steely Dan's Classic East and West concerts in July as he recovered from an unspecified ailment. "Walter's recovering from a procedure and hopefully he'll be fine very soon," Fagen told Billboard at the time. Becker's doctor advised the guitarist not to leave his Maui home for the performances.

Becker and Fagen first became collaborators when they were both students at New York's Bard College. After working as songwriters (Barbra Streisand's "I Mean to Shine") and members of Jay and the Americans' backing band, the duo moved to California in the early Seventies to form Steely Dan – named after a sex toy in William S. Burroughs' Naked Lunch – alongside guitarists Jeff "Skunk" Baxter and Denny Dias, drummer Jim Hodder and singer David Palmer.

Following the release of their debut 1972 LP Can't Buy a Thrill, the lineup would change again with Palmer's exit; while Steely Dan would routinely rotate musicians, Becker and Fagen remained the group's core members. Despite the ever-changing lineup, Steely Dan made their stamp on music with a string of pristine, sophisticated albums with "calculated and literary lyrics" that blurred the lines of jazz, pop, rock and soul.

"I'm not interested in a rock/jazz fusion," Becker told Rolling Stone in 1974. "That kind of marriage has so far only come up with ponderous results. We play rock & roll, but we swing when we play. We want that ongoing flow, that lightness, that forward rush of jazz."

Hey Beatlebob! LOL!!! Thanks for those funny pictures. I can't help but laugh eventhough it is scary what's been going on in the world lately! Our friend BeatleNut9 is in Houston, Texas where the Hurricane Harvey disaster hit. Thank goodness her particular area of town didn't get too flooded. I never knew the band "Steely Dan" was named after an adult toy. Lmao! Thanks for the information. And the pictures from The Six Million Dollar Man / The Bionic Woman. Great shows! The laptop I recently ordered finally arrived over the weekend. I'm still getting used to it, but so far so good! Hope you had a good Labor Day! Feel better soon, my friend!! :-)

Hey Sadie! You're Welcome for those funny pictures!!! LOL!!! I try to find some Humor to help keep me somewhat sane, with all that's been going on in the world lately!!! It's Very Scary!!! Thank Goodness for That, at least!!! Please send her my Best Wishes!!!! Even though her area of town didn't get too flooded, I'm sure it's still hard on her with everything going on there!!! I Wish Her The BEST!! And now we have Hurricane Irma headed to the South Eastern United States! They are still tracking it!!! What a MESS!!!!! :-( You're Welcome for that information about  "Steely Dan"!! I also, never knew the band was named after an adult toy! LMAO!!! ;-) You're also Welcome for the pictures from The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman!! Yes, Great Shows!! GREAT!!!!! :-) I'm So Glad that your Laptop finally arrived over the weekend!!! I'm Sure you were So Happy to get it!! Yeah, like anything new and different it takes some time getting used to it!! So Glad, so far so good!! Does it have Windows 10 on it? If so, there are many tutorials online to help you get used to that!! :-) BEST WISHES with your New Laptop!!! Enjoy!!! :-) Thanks!! I Hope you had a good Labor Day too! I have an appointment with my Regular MD Tomorrow! I should be back online on Thursday! Thanks for the Warm Wishes, My Friend!!! Hope we can catch up SOON!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for catching up. Hope your doctor's appointment went well. Yes, my new laptop has Windows 10 and I watched a few videos on YouTube before it arrived to be more prepared. Now I am used to it. Thanks for the tip! The online tutorials were helpful, but I didn't need much help adjusting! First Harvey and now Irma. I can't believe all these hurricanes! Wtf is happening to our world?? So sad!!! :-(

Hope to catch up with you even more soon. Have a good week! :-)

Hey Sadie! So Glad to hear from you again!!! :-) Thanks!! My doctor's appointment went pretty good! She put me on an anti - viral Antibiotic to take for 7 days. I take it twice daily. Then Both my Mother and I will be seeing the Dermatologist this coming Friday. Next Tuesday the 19th I'll be taking my Mother to her doctor to check out her fractured hand, to see how it's coming along. Then the week after that I'll be seeing my Regular Doctor again on the 28th for a complete exam. So far that's the story for this month's doctor visits. Unless I get referred for tests or to see another doctor? LOL! FUN!

I figured your new laptop would have Windows 10 on it! GREAT!! :-) That was a good idea to watch a few videos on YouTube before it arrived to be more prepared!!!! You're Welcome for the tip! But, I see you did that anyway! :-) So Glad that you're used to it Now!! :-) I see even though the online tutorials were helpful, you didn't need much help adjusting to Windows 10!! :-) I Hope You are Enjoying your New Laptop!!! :-) Yeah Really, first Harvy and now Irma!!! I can't believe all these hurricanes too!!! I agree, WTF is happening to our world??? It's So SAD!!! :-( I Feel for all those poor people in those areas!!! I Hope BeatleNut9 is doing Alright from Harvey!!!

Mike sent me a link to an audio story called "The Two Sides of Sgt. Pepper: An Honest Appraisal of The Beatles' Classic". I listened to part of it and I liked it. When I have more time I'll listen to the rest of it! It has a lot of contributors such as musicians and authors of some famous Beatles Books too. Also,  Beatles music of course! And there's more Audio Stories about other Beatles Albums etc to listen to. I Think you might enjoy them when you have the time!!! On the second link there are a few at the top and further down there area few more. Just click on them and Enjoy! :-) Here are the Links:

I see JP stopped by the site. Haven't heard from him in quite a while.

Thanks So Much for Catching Up!!! I Hope we can catch up, even more Soon!!! Thanks!! Hope You have a Good Week, My Friend!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! It's good to hear from you too! I was surprised to see somebody other than us drop by this site! I think it is the same "Paulie" from our Beatles site. I remember him. He was always friendly. Hopefully it's not "JP Walrus", from the Kansas City area like me. He was a jerk to me many times! That's why I stopped talking to him a few years ago. Sadly I lost touch with Alyssabeth (BeatleLover13 or something) because she seems to have moved on in life, same with Ann (BeatleGirl). They don't talk to me anymore! :-( I still talk to BeatleNut9 everyday on Facebook though. I'm sure she really appreciates your concern! The hurricane didn't really hit her area of Texas though. She got lucky! So glad I'm not there or in Florida! I feel so sorry for all those poor people too! I can't even imagine losing all of my stuff, evacuating or living in a shelter with tons of other people! Horrible!!! I was just watching a movie last night called "Irma La Douce". IRMA! Like the hurricane! Maybe not a good choice of film to watch at this difficult time! But it was just coincidence! LOL! Thanks for keeping me updated on your appointments. Since I hadn't heard from you in a while I was getting worried about you and your mother. But it's a relief to hear you're both doing alright! Wow! Thanks for the links! I'm listening to them right now! I haven't talked to Mike in a while. But when I get a chance I'll thank him for sharing those audiobooks. Very interesting stuff!!! Especially enjoying that Sgt. Pepper one! I'm going to be busy with them for the next few hours. LOL!!!!

Thank YOU for catching up too! We WILL catch up even more soon! Have a good week too, my friend!!!! :-)

Hey Sadie! It's Great to hear from you too!! Yeah, I was also surprised to see somebody other than us drop by this site!! Hopefully it's the same "Paulie" from our Beatles site!! I thought it "Might" be "JP Walrus"?? Yeah, from the Kansas City area like you. Because once in a while he called himself "Paulie" on the Beatles site. LOL!! I too remember the other "Paulie", and he was always nice! I remember "JP" was a Real Jerk to you many times!! :-( No wonder you stopped talking to him a few years ago!! Yes, it's Sad that you lost touch with Alyssabeth and BeatleGirl!! :-( I Guess they Both have moved on in life. I'm Sorry they don't talk to you anymore!! :-( I'm So Glad that you still talk to BeatleNut9 everyday on Facebook!! :-) Thanks for passing on my Best Wishes to her!! I'm So Glad that the Hurricane didn't really hit her area of Texas!! :-) She Sure Did Get Lucky!! Thanks for letting me know that!!! Wasn't Alyssabeth from Texas too?? If so, I Hope she is Alright!! I'm also So Glad I'm not there or in Florida!!! Yes, those poor people there!! :-( I couldn't imagine losing all of my stuff too!! Or evacuating or living in a shelter with tons of other people!!! Sure would be Horrible!!!! :-( It's JUST a coincidence!!! LOL!! That you were just watching "Irma La Douce"!! IRMA like the Hurricane!! LOL!! ;-) You're Welcome for keeping you updated on the doctor appointments!! Just wanted to let you know the latest. Aw! Thanks for you're concern since you haven't heard from me in a while!! It was just that I was busy with things for me and my mother! Thanks My Friend!!! We are Hanging In There!! More doctor visits to come. You're So Welcome for the Links that Mike sent me!! I wanted to share them with you!! :-) Yeah, when you talk to Mike again, tell him that I shared the Links with you. I'm Glad you were listening to them while you wrote this!! :-) I thought you would find it very Interesting!!! I Really Enjoyed that Sgt. Pepper one too!!! Glad you continued being busy listening to them after you wrote this!!! :-) YES!!! Very interesting stuff!!! :-) I Enjoyed the Rubber Soul one too!! I'll listen to the other ones when I get a chance!! A lot of Stuff there, LOL!!  :-)

You're So Welcome!! Thank You for catching up Too!!! YES!! We WILL catch up even more Soon!! Thanks!!! Have a Good Week, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! Yes, it appears to be our old friend "Paulie" from the Beatles site, not JP Walrus. Thank heavens! LOL!!! Yes, I remember Alyssabeth is from Texas too. But she seems to be just fine on Facebook, not affected by the hurricane. Eventhough we don't talk to her anymore, that's good news! Same with BeatleNut! What a relief! :-)

As for Ann AKA Candy O. / BeatleGirl, I have no idea what's going on with her. Even Paulie asked. I wonder where she's been all this time and WHY she won't talk to us anymore!!! It's been TOO long since I last heard from her, that was way back in April and it's almost October! :-(

All we can do is hope she will finally make contact with us again and that this site and the Beatles one won't end!

I had so much fun at the Beatles tribute show on Friday night!!!

I entered the contest, wearing this exact same costume:

I have the matching headband too but I couldn't find it, it's lost somewhere in my crowded closet so I just wore a pink hat instead with white sunglasses. The dress was so short that it fit more like a shirt so I wore it as a top with pants. I didn't wear white boots like that either but you should get a pretty good idea of what my outfit looked like from that photo! LOL!!! The Opera House website won't put up the pictures or results of the costume contest until September 29. I can't wait to see my picture and find out if I am a winner! From what I saw, I had the best costume compared to everyone else and there were only a few people who entered it with me so I have a pretty good chance of winning! I was disappointed that my request didn't win the free CD prize though. I requested "Yes It Is' and was the only one who asked for that song but someone who requested "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" won. WTF? Oh well! LOL!!!! The band was good too. This is my third time seeing them. They are from Omaha, Nebraska but tour all over so if they're ever in the New York area you might want to check them out...

Pretty good renditions! The real Paul is touring right now all over New York. I wish you could go! Wonder if BeatleGirl is going? Really wish she would contact us! :-(

Hope you and your mother are doing better?? You both have been in my thoughts and prayers lately.

Have a FAB week, my friend!!! :-)

Oh yeah and I almost forgot to mention,

RIP actor Harry Dean Stanton who passed away at age 91.

I remember him being in alot of stuff!

Rest In Peace.

Enjoy the rest of September everyone! :-)

Hey Sadie! I'm GLAD it appears to be our old friend "Paulie" from the Beatles site, and Not JP Walrus!! YES!! Thank Heavens!! LOL!!!! I'm Glad to hear that Alyssabeth seems to be doing just fine on Facebook!! So, she wasn't affected by the Hurricane!! GREAT!! Thanks for letting me know!! Yes, even though we don't talk to her anymore, that IS good news!!! :-) And that goes for BeatleNut too!!! Sure IS a Relief!!! :-)

Yes, I seen on the front page here in the Groovy Chatroom Paulie asked about Candy O!! We Both have no idea what's going on with Ann AKA Candy O. / BeatleGirl?? I also, wonder where she's been all this time and WHY she won't talk to us anymore?!?!?? It sure has been way too long since you last heard from her, and THAT was way back in April and it's almost October!!! :-( I agree, all we Can Do is hope she will finally make contact with us again and that This Site and the Beatles one Won't End!!!

I'm So Glad to hear you had so much fun at the Beatles tribute show on Friday night!!!!!! :-)
Thanks for posting the Picture of the costume!!! I'm Glad you entered the contest, wearing the exact same costume! GROOVY!!! :-) I'm sorry you couldn't find the matching headband you have! But, you wore a pink hat instead with white sunglasses. Sounds COOL! I see that the dress was so short that it fit more like a shirt, so you improvised and wore it as a top with pants. You didn't wear white boots like in the photo. But, since you wore pants it didn't matter. But, yeah I have a pretty good idea of what your outfit looked like from that photo! LOL!! ;-) I Like the Colors and the pattern!! :-) Sorry you have to wait till September 29th for the pictures and results of the costume contest!! I'm Sure you can't wait to see your picture and find out if you're a winner!!!! I can't wait too!!! :-) That's GREAT that you had the best costume compared to everyone else, and there were only a few people who entered it with you!!! Sounds like you have a pretty Good chance of winning!!! :-) I'm Sorry to hear that your request didn't win the free CD prize! :-( I see you requested "Yes It Is' and you were the only one who asked for that song but, someone who requested "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" won. WTF????? Odd choice for the winning song!! LOL!!!! Oh well, what can you do! :-( I'm Glad the band was Good, and that was you're third time seeing them! I see they are from Omaha, Nebraska but tour all over. If they're ever in the New York area it would be Cool to check them out. Thanks For posting the Video!!!!

They did a NICE job playing Paperback Writer, Day Tripper, and Revolution!!!

I read this under the video on YouTube: "Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience is a one-of-a-kind, all request show featuring audience memories and stories about their favorite Beatles song.

What’s your favorite Beatles song? When asked this question, people don’t just tell you the name of the song. They tell you a story associated with that song – about a first love, a first kiss or a touching story about a parent or the loss of a loved one. Simply put, The Beatles music is the soundtrack to our lives. Yesterday and Today gets to the heart of that. This show takes the incredible music of The Beatles and personalizes it with the stories and perspectives of audience members. The show becomes a therapeutic musical session with laughter and tears and personal stories that connect the audience, band and performers in a way that no other show can."

So COOL!!!! :-) Yes, pretty good renditions!! Yes, I know the real Paul is touring right now all over New York!! I sure wish I could go too!!! But, I don't think I will be able to!! :-( Yeah, I wonder if BeatleGirl will see him in New York?? I Really wish she would contact us, too!!! :-(
