Aww! "Elly May" passed away on New Year's Day? So Sad! :-(

Yeah, Girl Happy, Harum Scarum, and other movies and TV shows Mary Ann Mobley was an actress in. And Frankie and Johnny Donna Douglas was in with Elvis.

Yeah, Max Baer Jr. "Jethro Bodine" was born December 4, 1937. I see he shares the Same Birthday!  :-) He's getting up there in age too. I Hope nothing happens to him anytime soon as well!

Oh, it was "Bodine"? I thought it was "Clampett"? LOL, Jethro was a hottie! Sad how he is now the last remaining part of The Beverly Hillbillies. All the actors, producers, etc... are gone. I love that show!! :-)

LOL, even Miss Hathaway liked Jethro! You're right, he was Nephew Bodine! I always thought it was Bodie (pronounced "Beau-dee") and thought that was his middle name, and Clampette was the last.
Crazy Granny always cracks me up! She was the funniest character on that show! She looked like my real life grandmother, and I also have another grandma that looks like Aunt Bea from The Andy Griffith Show! LOL!!!

I was hoping this new year would have less tragedies than the last, but unfortunately it's already gotten off to a rough start! Have you heard about all the commotion in France??

That's why I enjoy watching good old shows like "Leave It To Beaver"...

I can pretend to escape to a perfect, peaceful environment, even if only for 30 minutes. :-)

I KNOW what you mean!! :-(( I've been watching it on CNN and MSNBC etc since it started a couple of days ago in France!! Horrible!!!!! Today they Finally found the Two Culprits at a big Printing Plant and killed them!! And at the same time some cohorts of those Two Terrorists held people hostage in a big Kosher Market in France. The French police killed one of them and are still looking for the other one. Possibly more Cells of these Terrorists in France!! :-( Yes, this year has certainly already gotten off to a rough start!!! :-(

Really!! That's why I enjoy watching good old shows like "Leave It To Beaver" etc too!!  I also, can pretend to escape to a perfect, peaceful environment, "even if only for 30 minutes"!! Thirty minutes to help keep us Sane!!

We need to!! Otherwise all seems hopeless in this Horrible World These Days!!! It helps our Sanity!!
