Really? Cool! It will probably look something like that. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't there already a limited edition John Lennon stamp at one point? I'm not sure but I think I remember one? Reminds me of that part of "A Hard Day's Night" movie when he grabs a showgirl and says "She's going to show me her stamp collection..." LOL! ;-)

And I love the 1993 and 2015 Elvis stamps too! Very nice! I remember seeing the groovy looking Jimi & Janis ones at the post office last year and wanted to buy some because I write Candy O. letters sometimes! :-)

Beatlebob, those fake Donald Trump stamps are hilarious! Did you create them? People should use those stamps when they send letters to him laced with cyanide & anthrax! LOL!!! ;-P

Sadie, as far as I know it's in the works. They just have to decide what image of John to use. It might look something like that. Would be Cool!! I don't remember a limited edition of a John Lennon stamp? I tried to find one but, only stamps of John from other countries. :-(

I also read it's still in the works. I imagine that Yoko or her team have some input on it.

As I'd hope they would do is to release various images of John in his different stages.

Something like this I suppose - but either way, having John on a stamp would be the coolest!

Yes Beatlebob, I also did a little research and found out there HAS been John Lennon stamps already, but in other countries. I couldn't find any info on there ever being a United States one. Hopefully that upcoming Lennon stamp project is legit because it's an utter disgrace for his likeness to never have been featured on an American stamp yet! There's probably been a USA Beatles stamp before with all four of them on it though, right? I'm not sure...

I think his sketchy little self portrait doodle would make a great stamp as well!

Along with all those other wonderful stamp drafts Candy O. posted! I agree with her that it's a good idea to depict him in different stages of his life. The color ones are my favorite. The one of him riding on a horse is ok but the other two color ones are even more awesome! I hope Yoko will be involved in this project too! If there's never been a Beatles one (I'm too lazy to research on that right now, LOL) some that say "Please Mr. Postman" or "P.S. I Love You" would be a neat idea! :-)

Sadie, there has been A Lot of John Lennon stamps in many other countries!! It's about time they are making one in the USA!! As far as I know it IS legit about the upcoming Lennon stamp. It IS a disgrace that John hasn't been featured on an American stamp yet!!! As far as I know there has Never been a Beatles stamp in the USA before! :-( I think his sketchy little self portrait doodle would make a great stamp too!! :-) Being the Postal Service is strapped for money, I THINK they will probably only use One Stamp for John? :-( I like the Color ones too!

Thanks for taking the time to researching all that, Beatlebob!! :-)  I was too lazy to & I already got a bit confused looking at sites in other languages just to see John Lennon stamps! LOL!!! You're right, the post office are cheapskates so they'll probably just make one new John stamp. If there can only be one, that color one you posted with his signature, sketchy little self portrait and real picture of him side by side is probably what I'd imagine it would look more like. Thanks for "posting" LOL pun intended! :-)

You're Welcome Sadie!! :-) Pretty much all I could find. I would get confused too looking at those sites in other languages just to see John Lennon stamps!!! LOL!!! Most likely they will just make One stamp!  :-( I think that stamp I posted with his signature, sketchy little self portrait and real picture of him is what I imagined it may look like too.
