I HATE cancer!

So do I! Unfair how cancer has taken away SO many wonderful people from us... :-(

What's more unfair is that murderers get to live long, healthy lives, even if they've smoked, done drugs, been put in prison. Cancer is a killer as well, and I hope scientists or doctors can find out the ultimate cure or prevention for it. So far, it's mostly genetic, environmental, and what people consume - food that is bad for our bodies, cigarettes, alcohol. Lifestyle plays part in it too :( So sad! I really, really hate that it has taken and IS taking so many truly wonderful people - but still, it does not discriminate! Young children get cancer as well... It disgusts me that it targets certain body parts - breasts, anus, testicles... throat, skin, so many things! And it spreads to other parts. Even the uterus. Purely disgusting and evil thing to form into death.

I'm glad though there there are treatments and tests to detect early symptoms of this awful disease. If only it was more affordable and easier to detect and prevent right away! :( Things take so much money and scientific research. Even if it takes years and years of progress, I still have hope for the cure!

I hate to ever mention these pigs, but I also think it's mighty UNFAIR that serial killers like John Lennon's murderer & Sharon Tate's killers and also bombers, etc... become so infamous and even get somewhat of a special treatment by being separated from other inmates. They're not even worth being mentioned by name, much less being protected like that in prison! How about when child molesting ex-convicts win the lottery? Unfair shit like that fucking infuriates me to no end. And as for cancer, it's just beyond evil. You're right, it can strike practically anyone! Regardless of age, health, habits, etc... It can attack pretty much anywhere on your body. There's even cancer of the blood! It's a relentless disease too, viciously attacking, often deadly, and easily in remission even if you think it's all gone.

And to top all that off, it also adds insult to injury when people who literally fight for their lives, enduring treaments like chemotherapy & surgery (that are not always guaranteed to be successful!) & damaging emotional (and sometimes severe financial) trauma still lose the battle... :-(

This reminds me to go get checked soon. BeatleNut9's best friend was diagnosed with dangerous cancer at my age, and I've been so sick lately that even my mother (who also needs a cancer checkup) is starting to worry.

I know I'm going to die someday, but I really hope it won't be that way! :-(

Apologies for this rant, but I just feel this angsty every time someone dies of cancer!

I Hate Cancer Too!!! My Father died of cancer! It was Horrible!!! Too horrible to go into detail about the long battle he had till he died of it!! Two of my Aunts and one Uncle died of cancer too!! My Grandfather died of Oral Cancer. I Finally saw my Dentist last week after I had trouble with Medicaid. I just had an Oral Cancer screening done last week. Because I developed Burning Mouth Syndrome, and my Dentist sent me to an Oral Surgeon the same day for the screening. Thank Goodness the test came out Okay!! Yes, so many different types of cancer!! I Sure am hoping for a Cure for cancer someday!!

Aww Beatlebob, sad how all those family members succumbed to damn cancer! Glad you got a checkup since your mouth was burning and you have family history of cancer! Relieved it came out clear too! I recently had a family member under 18 that was murdered so I know how hard it is to lose a loved one! :-(   

Well it's not so horrible anymore about BeatleNut9's best friend, she survived ovarian cancer. As a matter of fact today is her birthday. Her username on our Beatles site is Mandy Loves Johnny. At least miracles do happen sometimes! :-)   Glad you didn't mind me and Candy O.'s rants. That's what I like about this site. A place where we can say whatever we want and not worry about getting criticized! Hopefully Donald Trump never Googles himself and somehow winds up over here. His corn on the cob style hair seems to have a mind of it's own and it might sue us! LOL!!!!! ;-P
