"Batman" actor dies at age 88

Wow I finally bought Batman: The Complete Series on DVD last month after it being on my Wish List for a few years! Wtf? What is up with that lately? I keep on thinking of people shortly before they die! I remember when Robin Williams died I mentioned Lauren Bacall. I said "This year more people are probably going to die like Lauren Bacall, etc..." and she died the very NEXT day! That shocked me!! Same with Carrie Fisher. I said "Poor Debbie Reynolds is going to take the news hard and she will probably sadly die soon too." But I didn't expect her to die the very NEXT day either! Am I somewhat psychic or something? :-(

RIP Batman!!!!! :-(

Hey Beatlebob! LOL! It probably is just a coincidence and I didn't really predict any deaths, since all of those people I mentioned were in old age. Still a bit creepy though! Thanks for posting that video! I enjoyed hearing Burt Ward "Robin" talk!! I've seen many Batman movies but he (Adam West) is still the actor I most associate as "Batman"! I want to see the 1966 Batman movie. I'm not sure if I've ever seen that, but I have seen the TV show and now I finally have it on DVD. That's great you finally got the hang of the new television set! I hope we can both get new DVD players soon!! Have a good week! :-)

Hey Sadie! LOL!! Yeah, it is probably just a coincidence and you didn't really predict any deaths!! And all of those people you mentioned were in old age!! Yeah but, still a bit creepy though! You're Welcome for posting that video!! I also, enjoyed hearing Burt Ward "Robin" talk!! I seen this on CNN I think? And I found this version on YouTube. I've seen a few Batman movies too but I Agree, Adam West is still the actor I also most associate as "Batman"!! I looked on YouTube for the 1966 Batman movie. But, the two I found were no good. One was altered way too much!! LOL! And the other one YouTube deleted the contents due to copyrights. :-( I found the Trailer for it. And I also, found the Full movie. BUT, it's in Very Poor Quality!!! :-( I'll give you the Link below. This way you'll know IF you ever seen the Movie or not? If you want to get it someday, I seen it on Amazon. Yeah, I've seen the TV show episodes many times on TV years ago! So COOL that you finally have it on DVD!! :-) Thanks!! I'm Glad that I finally got the hang of my new television set, too!! :-) I Hope We can Both get New DVD players as soon as we are able too!! Would be so much Better!! Thanks My Friend!! You have a Good Week Too!!  :-)

I often go to that "Archive.org" website because they have alot of free full episodes of Old Time Radio which I Love! I didn't know they had videos over there too? Great!! Enjoy Paul McCartney day / Father's Day soon on Sunday, June 18! :-)

I was skipping through different parts of it and the quality was kind of grainy to me. But, actually not too bad quality wise, now that I think of it :-) Yes, certainly not HD. I've seen much worse too!! LOL!!! GREAT!!! I'm Glad you'll enjoy watching it when you have more time!! Since you really like the TV show! Again, you're so welome!!! I'm not sure if I ever was on that "Archive.org" website before? I just happened to find it when searching for This Movie! I see you often go to that "Archive.org" website because they have alot of free full episodes of Old Time Radio which you Love. COOL!! Now, you know they have videos over there too. GREAT!!! I'm Glad I found the movie there!! :-) Thanks!!! Oh yeah, June 18th is Father's Day too!! BTW.....Did you ever see a movie called "Cadillac Records"? It's based on the true story of "Chess Records". I've seen it a few times, and I liked it. You might like it too. ;-)

"An argument could be made that modern rock 'n' roll was launched not at Sun Records in Memphis, but at Chess Records, 2120 S. Michigan, and its earlier South Side locations since the early 1950s. The Rolling Stones even recorded a song named after the address. The great Chess roster included Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Etta James, Willie Dixon, Chuck Berry and Little Walter. They first made Chicago the home of the blues, and then rhythm and blues, which, as Muddy said, had a baby, and they named it rock 'n' roll.

In 1947 Chicago, Polish emigrant and bar owner Leonard Chess (Adrien Brody) hires a blues combo that includes guitarist Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright) and harmonica player Little Walter (Columbus Short). Waters' and Walter's success leads to Chess' management of stars Etta James (Beyoncé Knowles), Howlin' Wolf (Eamonn Walker), Chuck Berry (Mos Def) and others. Inevitably, business and personal lines blur as the sometimes-turbulent lives of the musicians play out."

Not a Great Movie!!! But, you might enjoy it?  ;-)
