Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for the compliments on the birthday Photoshops I made for myself! Glad you were able to view the colorful one in full size now! I did have fun setting up decorations and it was good catching up with all my household chores too. It feels like I've been dead inside for a little while and am finally starting to get back to life again! I almost cancelled all my birthday celebration plans but decided to go on with it. I'm not exactly partying but I'm doing my best to try to have the best time possible while I'm still in mourning. Another reason why I chose that quote "You've gotta have your cake and eat it too" is because I thought that was appropriate advice as well. I know he would've wanted me to get back to living! And he knows "I'll never get over him!" (P.S. Here is the song...)

I ordered some David Cassidy vinyl records online this weekend. It's really cheered me up rediscovering him & The Partridge Family. It's time to finally treat myself after this horrible year! I know you had a rough one too, and things still aren't going too well like with your mother's recent fall, which by the way I totally understand if you can't be online here as much until she gets better! I agree, it's a good one! Thanks for sharing that video of him singing the Paul McCartney & Wings song "Tomorrow"! I know that YouTube channel called "Cherish - The David Cassidy Channel", I've been following it for a few years and unfortunately they don't allow embedding of videos. I'm so excited to get my new records in the mail soon! I've actually never had any David Cassidy vinyl until now, just some Partridge Family ones. I'm really looking forward to expanding my David Cassidy collection. There's just sooo many vintage teen magazines with him and/or The Partridge Family on it, the ordering process will be endless! I've already gone overboard with ordering about $200 worth of David Cassidy stuff online this December but luckily I can just blame it on the holidays! LOL!!! ;-)

I also hope that Candy O. saw our birthday greetings for her! I noticed on December 6th, her username showed up on the homepage here beside mine, and it even had a little green dot next to it too.
Does that mean she was recently online now??? I'm not sure, but if she was, unfortunately she didn't respond to anything we posted for her. It's bad enough that I'm still devastated over the loss of David Cassidy, and to make things worse, my supposed best friend has not contacted me or anyone from our sites in nearly a year! I just hope she's not mad at us for some weird reason! :-(

I noticed there hasn't really been much of an update on him since late November.

That really saddens me! I don't even see any magazines about him at the stores.
I figured he'd make at least one cover photo! But NO!!! I've only seen a few with small stories inside about him. Only 3 magazines which were People, Entertainment Weekly, and some magazine called Closer.
WTF?? It's like nobody even cares about him anymore but me!!! So SAD!!!!!

I read there's not even any official funeral or memorial service planned yet.
This week they publicly shared his will online and revealed what he left behind to people.
I was surprised he only had 150 thousand at the time of his death. That's sad! 
I thought he was much richer than that! :-(
It's also sad how they somehow got a hold of his will and put it on public display!
It was interesting to read about it but I still feel bad that they shared such a personal thing for all to see.
How disrespectful!! It was even on the front page of MSN & Yahoo! Wow! I thought those sites had more class than that! They're almost turning into gossip ones like TMZ. What a shame!
It said he left behind all his music related memorabilia to his 3 brothers. I just hope they don't try selling his costumes and stuff to make alot of money off it! Especially if they're not even giving him a nice funeral!! This is all so sickening! I'm still having a hard time growing accustomed to life without him. I'm still a bit of an emotional wreck, and it dosen't take much to send me back over the edge into tears! I can't even bring myself to listen to The Partridge Family Christmas album yet, which I do every December. :-(
What a rough way to start off a new year! And to top everything off, in January 2018 this site might even shut down! If that unfortunately does happen, I hope you will join Facebook again because communicating by e-mail isn't as fun.

Hey Beatlebob. I haven't posted anything on this page or the "RIP Tom Petty" one in a while, because there hasn't really been any updates and it's also very sad looking back on that stuff! But maybe you've heard, this has been in the news lately...

David Cassidy's Estate Sued for Over $120,000 in Legal Bills

Rodier & Rodier claims Cassidy owes $102,834 for legal services, and Lawyer D.W. Saavedra claims he owes $19,006.02.

Omg! He only left behind $150 thousand. And it was in assets worth $150K, not cash. So I think they'd probably have to auction off most of those belongings to raise that money?? I wish I could buy it all!! I think it's awful that he's still being sued even after death!!!! Hopefully that debt will just be written off since he's now gone.

That made me mad, and so did the fact that it took so long for him (two months) to finally get some sort of memorial service. It reportedly happened sometime over the weekend. It was a private ceremony for his close friends and family only. Hopefully there will be a public memorial later on for the fans. I couldn't find any video footage of it, but I did find a few things online to confirm that it did indeed happen, including one picture:

Wow! I was surprised to see his Partridge Family sister Susan Dey attended since she usually does not participate in any Partridge reunions and has been out of the public eye for many years. I thought it was sad how she was the only living cast member that did not release any official public statement when he passed away, but I'm so glad that she now showed up to pay respects.

His last words "So much wasted time" really broke my heart. I don't know why he said that, since his life was definitely not wasted time! He was loved by so many and brought joy to so many!!! That certainly is not a life wasted!!! At least he's at peace now. If only the lawyers would show some respect and leave him to Rest In Peace too! :-(

Did you watch the SAG Awards on TV? I am glad that he was mentioned in the "In Memoriam" tribute.

I'm hoping other upcoming awards shows like The Grammys, etc...
will give him an honorable mention too!
