(Beatlebob, thanks for the new pictures you posted here. I really enjoyed them, especially the Photoshops with The Beatles and the one from the "Silvery Moon" movie that featured a scene with a turkey. Have a good Thanksgiving!)
Watching The Partridge Family will feel so different now that "Reuben Kincaid", "Tracy Partridge", and now my beloved "Keith Partridge" are no longer with us. I was looking through some saved photos of him on my computer Tuesday morning and found this one from an old vintage teen magazine article.
I thought it was painfully ironic how the quote was actually relevant, since at the time he was still clinging to life with an uncertain future. It even had a question mark at the end. Just seeing it made me tear up eventhough he wasn't completely gone yet. The only way I feel better now is that I am no longer anxious. No more worries, for he is at peace now.
I have always and will always LOVE him with ALL my heart!!!

Hey Beatlebob, Thank you for posting that beautiful picture of him! I love it! I am still taking a short break from the Internet but wanted to stop by here for a second just to say hi and let you know how I've been doing. Ever since he died, I've been a complete emotional and even physical wreck! I have cried every single day and still have trouble sleeping, eating, etc. Everytime I go outside I have to wear sunglasses eventhough it's winter to hide my tears because sometimes they start up even when I'm out in public. I am so devastated. I didn't even feel this bad when actual people I know have passed away. That's how much I LOVE David Cassidy!!! Eventhough I am glad he is at peace, I still feel so hurt that we will never see him ever again! :-(
Hopefully this site will still be here in December, when I will return from my break and start participating again. Looking forward to catching up with you. I just need some more time to recuperate. I'm glad you understand! Thanks for the kind words, my friend! My birthday is on December 4 and that's when I will be back. If you could please share some more photos of him then, that would be great! No need to make any special Photoshops for me or anything fancy this year. Just post some David Cassidy pictures. That would really make my day! Thank you so much! I hope all is well with you. Have a good December! :-)

I'm SO SORRY you've been a complete emotional and even physical wreck as well, ever since he died!! :-( From what you said here, it's no wonder you've been a physical wreck!!! As well, as an emotional wreck!! :-( You Really are Very Devastated over his loss!!! :-( YES!!! That's how much You LOVE David Cassidy!!! I feel the same way, even though we are glad he is at peace, we still feel so hurt that we will never see him ever again!!!! :-( It's So Very Sad!!!! :-(

I'm Just Hoping you will be feeling a lot better by then!!!! Thanks!!! I'm Hanging In There!! Thank You!!! I Hope you will have a Good December Too!!!! :-)
Thanks for stopping by!!!!! Feel Better My Friend!!! Will catch up with you on your Birthday!!!!! :-)
I Love your New Profile Picture!!! It's So Appropriate!!!
Beatlebob, thanks for the compliment on that profile picture I had! I thought it was very appropriate too. I didn't make it though. I found it on Facebook along with this similar one:
Aww I love that billboard eventhough it's sad!
The only other living celebrities' death that could affect me this much would be Paul and Ringo. I pray all the time that they'll be around for many more years to come!!! The end of November was one of the worst weeks in my whole entire life!!! But I am doing a bit better now. I've been trying to get myself together for December and all the upcoming holidays eventhough it's still hard. Watching and listening to The Partridge Family has really helped alot! At first I thought it would be too painful to start remembering him but it's actually made me feel so much better and stronger!!!
I always dreaded the day David Cassidy would die. It still came as somewhat of a surprise eventhough I already knew that in the last few years he was going through alot of stuff. I remember reading so much bad news about him like his mother died (also of dementia), he got divorced, sold his home and valuables, appeared drunk in concert and even collapsed onstage, was recently arrested three times for drunk driving, filed for bankruptcy and was always going to court and rehab. I remember the last DUI, when he went to jail for a few hours. I cried when that happened, just like I cried when I first heard he was hospitalized. I was always so worried about him! It was so sad to see his life fall apart like that!!! The worst news of all was when he publicly announced his retirement and battle with dementia a few months ago. That's when I began fearing the worst!! I just didn't expect it to happen so soon. I wish he would've had a happier ending than this! But it's a relief to know he's finally at peace now!
I agree, he will always be in our hearts!!! Especially mine!!!! ♥
I created some stuff in Photoshop with him in it for my own birthday! :-)
I'm very pleased with the way they came out, considering it's been a while since I've tried Photoshop! (You can click on them to view full size! I found a free Partridge Family font! It's a pretty cursive text, also called "Kalligraphia". It's now one of my favorites along with "Bootle", "Yellow Submarine", "Gilligan's Island", and The Munsters one!)
Well I hope to finally hear from you again on Monday! It feels so good to be back again! Have a good December, my friend! Happy Holidays!! :-)
Hey Sadie! So Good to hear from you again!! :-) You're Welcome for the compliment on that profile picture you had!! Yes, it was very appropriate! I see you found it on Facebook along with this similar one you of that billboard. Thanks for posting the picture of the billboard!! I Really Like it too!! Even though it's sad!
I Surely Understand what you said about Paul and Ringo!!! The death of either one of them would Surely Devastate Me Too!!!!! I also, pray all the time that they'll be around for many more years to come!!!! They are both in their 70's and getting up there in age. But, they do seem to be in very good health and they are very energetic and so busy all the time!! That's a Good Sign!! :-) I Know the end of November was one of the worst weeks in your whole life!!!! :-( I'm So Glad that you're doing a bit Better now!! I can imagine it's still hard for you trying to get yourself together for December and all the upcoming holidays!! I'm So Glad to hear that watching and listening to The Partridge Family has really helped you a lot!!! :-) I'm Sure at first you thought it would be too painful to start remembering him!! But, I'm Glad to see it actually made you feel so much better and stronger!!!!! I'm So Glad to hear this, My Friend!! :-) That's Great!!!
I Know you always dreaded the day David Cassidy would die!! The same goes for me too!! Yes, it Still came as somewhat of a surprise even though you already knew that in the last few years, he was going through alot of stuff!! When I found out he died I was reading so much of the same bad news you mentioned here, on the Internet!! About what he was going through for so many years!! A couple of the things you mentioned, I didn't know about, though!! So Sad!!! :-( I can imagine you cried when you heard about the last DUI, when he went to jail for a few hours!! And just like you cried when you first heard he was hospitalized!! :-( I can imagine you were so worried about him!! YES, it was so sad to see his life fall apart like that!!!! Then when you heard he publicly announced his retirement and battle with dementia a few months ago, that was the Worst news to hear about!!! That was when you began fearing the worst!!! You just didn't expect it to happen so soon!! :-( I also, wish he would have had a happier ending than This!!!! :-( But Yes, it is a Relief to know he's finally at peace now!!!
Yes, he will always be in our hearts!!! And especially Yours!!! He Always meant so much to me too!!! But, I Know how much You Felt about him!!!
I see you created some stuff in Photoshop with him in it, for your own Birthday!! :-) Thanks for sharing them here with me!!! I clicked on them to view them in full size! I see why you're very pleased with the way they came out!! :-) Considering it's been a while since you've tried Photoshop, you did a GREAT Job with your creations!!! I Really Like Them!!! :-) Cool that used photos of him from Tiger Beat with him celebrating his Birthday with that Cool cake and candles etc!! And I Like how you put the pictures together in the both of the creations!! Nice Graphics you used too!! :-) I looked up that Font: "Kalligraphia, a cursive Art Nouveau display script face. Kalligraphia has a unique stroke contrast model; the tops and bottoms of its letterforms are thicker than the verticals on its sides." COOL!! I see you used it in the Top one, "The Partridge Family"! That's Sweet what it Says there!!! "I'll Never Get Over You"!! Glad you found that Font! I see now it's one of your favorites along with "Bootle", "Yellow Submarine", "Gilligan's Island", and The Munsters one!!! :-) I Love those fonts too!!! :-) Thanks again, for sharing them with me!!! I Think they came out Great!!! :-)
I'm So Glad to see that watching and listening to The Partridge Family has really helped you out a lot!!! :-) I'm So Glad You're Feeling Better Now!!!! :-)
I'll Surely be back here on Monday, for you're Birthday!! I have some David Cassidy pictures. Even though you probably seen them before, I'm sure! LOL! ;-) And I updated two of the "Old" Birthday creations I made for you, just a "Little bit". Hope you'll enjoy them anyway!! ;-)
I've been busy! Last Sunday my Mother fell in the bathtub while taking a shower!! Really Scared Me!! Had to call the EMT's! But, at least she didn't wind up in the ER!! She's doing pretty much better now. Have to do Laundry FUN tomorrow etc. I'll try to be back on Sunday! And Sure will be Back on Monday!!! Hope to hear from you again Soon!!! I'm Glad it feels so good to be back again!!! :-) I'm So Glad to hear it!!! :-) Thanks!!! Hope You have a Good December Too, My Friend!!! Happy Holidays!!! :-)
Hey Beatlebob! Yeah, I heard that billboard tribute has been spotted in a few different cities, in different states. Thought it was really cool! Notice how it was shared on Facebook by Shaun Cassidy, his brother. So sweet! I'm a fan of him too. Loved The Hardy Boys TV show and his music also, but David was definitely by far my favorite!!!! :-)
It sickens me how there's still so much bad news out there even after his death! I wish they would just take down all those stories now. I also read that his loved ones are upset over people now selling "RIP" merchandise like t-shirts and stuff eventhough they don't have the legal right to use his name and likeness. I wish people would have some more respect! :-(
His last years were very sad indeed, but I try not to think about it too much and remember him when he was young and healthy instead. :-)
OMG!!!! Your mother had another accident?? So sorry to hear that, my friend! That must have been so scary! At least she's recovering now and it wasn't anything too serious? Does she have a bathtub chair? I recommend every elderly or disabled person to have one because it's so easy to slip in the shower and doing so can be very dangerous or even fatal! I will be praying for her! I understand if you can't be back in time for my birthday posts. Your mother's health is a more important priority than me! If you can't find time to share them on Sunday or Monday, anytime in December is fine! Better late than never! Thanks!! :-)
I'm glad you liked the Photoshops I made. I thought the backgrounds were cute graphics too! Those lyrics in the sepia one are from a Partridge Family song. I like how they mention "cake" just like the pictures from that old teen magazine, and the title "I'll Never Get Over You" is appropriate too!
Oops, I shared the wrong size on the second colorful one. Hopefully this time it will work. Try clicking on this one to view FULL size...
It makes a nice wallpaper! I was having fun messing around in Photoshop and writing with text from that new Partridge Family style font!
Well I've got to go finish with my chores and setting up decorations now but will catch up soon. I am so behind on cleaning and everything since I've been like a zombie ever since November 21 too! Have a fab weekend, month of December, and holidays my friend! :-)
Hey Sadie! That's So COOL that billboard tribute has been spotted in a few different cities, in different states!!! :-) Yes, I did see that it was shared on Facebook by Shaun Cassidy, his brother. When I first looked at the picture you posted!! That was Very Sweet!! I liked him too! I remember The Hardy Boys TV show, and some of his music! But, I Know David was definitely by far your favorite!!! :-) Of course I Liked David much more than Shaun too!! :-)
I feel the Same Way that there's still so much bad news out there even after his death!!!! I Also, wish they would take down all those stories now!!! It's enough already!!! :-( I see you also read that his loved one's are upset over people now selling "RIP" merchandise like t-shirts and stuff!!! :-( Even though they don't have the legal right to use his name and likeness!! That's Horrible that some people always take advantage to make money off of a Celebrity's death!! Without having any concern for loved one's feelings!!! I too wish people would have some more respect!!! :-(
Yes, his last years were Very Sad!! :-( It's Best that you try not to think about it too much and remember him when he was young and healthy instead!!! That's the Best thing to Do!!! :-)
Yeah, my Mother had another Fall!!! :-( Thanks My Friend!! It Sure was Scary!!!! Yes, at least she's recovering now and feeling a lot better than she did!! I was So Glad it wasn't anything too serious!! But, the past couple of days her legs started bothering her pretty bad!! :-( It had to be from that Fall!! She will be calling her MD tomorrow about it! I Sure Hope she will be Alright!!! No, she doesn't have a bathtub chair. She's afraid that it might slip and topple over when she starts to get up out of it!! I have one in there for the toilet though. I ordered a non slip bathtub mat for her! It should arrive on Monday! Thanks for your recommendation about the bathtub chair!! I Agree with what you said about it!! But, she knows of a couple of people who slipped and fell using one of those chairs, and it scares her to use one in the bathtub. :-( I Hope that non slip mat will be good for her!!! I'll try it first to make sure!!! Thanks So Much for praying for her, My Friend!!!! And Thanks for what you said about maybe not having the time to post the pictures for you!!! That's why I'm posting them Here Today for you!!! Thanks for being so understanding, as usual!!! This is what I wrote under the David Cassidy picture:
"I'll post them Here Today!! Because I'm not sure when I'll be able to be online Tomorrow? Even though my Mother is recovering from that Fall she had, I still have to take care of her and things around here!! Have to take it one day at a time because even though she is feeling better than she did the day she fell, she started having problems with one of her legs yesterday!! :-( Probably from that Fall!! She's calling her MD tomorrow about it. And Today both of her legs hurt when she gets up from sitting!! So, I'll try to make it online sometime Tomorrow for your Birthday!!! But, who knows with the things going on with her? That's why I want to post the Pics Here Today for You!!! I never know what the next day will bring, around here? I'm Hoping she will be Alright!!" But, I'll try my Best to be online sometime Tomorrow!!
There are no birthdays today
