Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for sharing this! I never knew The Beatles played a St. Patrick's Day show! Isn't "Rory Storm & The Hurricanes" the band Ringo was in before them? Cool! Thanks for keeping me updated on what's been going on with you lately! I remember being disappointed when everything switched to digital and you could no longer get some free channels on TV with antennas anymore. Now they're upgrading telephone and cable lines too? That sucks! We're too retro for the modern day switch! LOL! I hope you find an affordable provider soon! I'd hate for you to be stuck without Internet service simply because the place where you live is doing this stupid switch! Yes, please let me know if you get a new e-mail address! And I still have your old one, so I won't lose contact with you in case something ever happens to this site! I thought it was shutting down soon? I was afraid so, and surprised to see it's still around after I moved and got Internet in my new place. But that's a good thing! Let's continue to enjoy it as much as we can!! I know Colonoscopy appointments are no fun! I recently had to accompany my father to one because he thought he would be too sick afterwards to drive. That's great news the test results came out fine! Hopefully everything will go alright with your Urologist soon too! Wishing you all the best with that and your Internet switch situation! I know how awful it is to be without the Internet for a little while! I'm so relieved my exhausting move is finally over and I'm finally online again! Hey Sadie! You're Welcome for sharing this!  :-) I didn't know The Beatles played a St. Patrick's Day show either till I seen this. I also remember when everything switched to digital and you could no longer get some free channels on TV with antennas anymore!! Vas very disappointing! I then had to witch to cable TV! Well, they are upgrading the old copper wire telephone lines to fiber ones. Verizon is, anyway. SUCKS!! Yes, we are too Retro for the modern day switch!!! LOL!!! ;-) I still have to set up a date for them to do the change over in our apartment. I Hope the new fiber wires will work with our old land line phones we have!!! They said they would.

I Finally switched my Internet provider to Optimum, the cable company that we use for our TV's. I'm no longer with Verizon for my Internet!! I was without Internet service for a while, and it SUCKED!! The guy came and installed my new modem from the cable company a few days ago. But, I was busy doing things for the last few days! I'm going to send you my new e-mail address to your gmail e-mail address!! The one you sent me here in a private message! Ignore my old email address! I won't be using that one anymore! After I change the email setting on This site and the Beatles site, I'll send you my New e-mail address to your gmail! This way we can stay in touch IF This site ever closes down!!

I see you were afraid and surprised to see it's still around after you moved and got Internet in your new place. I was afraid too, while I didn't have Internet! YES!! It's Good that the site is Still Here!! :-) I Agree!! Lets Enjoy it as much as we can!!! I'm busy learning how to use my new email account. I Don't like it! But, will have to use it! Oh Well. Will be busy this week with things. But, will catch up in between when I can!!!

Hey Beatlebob! Yes I got your e-mail! Thanks! I rarely even check my email since it's mostly just junk mail. You shouldn't have any problems changing to your new email address here. If so, just make a new Retro Sugar user account. It's that simple. You may have to wait a while for the administrator (Candy O) to approve your membership though. Maybe this site won't be shutting down afterall. We'll see. Good luck with the Urologist. I'm so glad you have Internet access again! I hope you're already getting used to your new service provider and everything? And your computer is now running smoothly? I once had Verizon for a phone service and it was getting too pricey so I got rid of it. I also had a cable and Internet bundle from a service called "Cox" that was like $200 a month. Yikes! Luckily I've since switched to something called "Century Link" but I think it's not available in all areas. I also have a Roku streamer instead of cable TV now. I wanted Time Warner Cable but that's unavailable in my area. Someone recommended me something called "SlingTV" which is similar to cable television. I've never heard of "Optimum". It must be a New York thing? The new apartments where I live in now don't allow tenants to install any satellites in the yard for DirectTV or Dish Network or anything like that. At least they agreed to let me have Internet though! The maintenance man was over here taking forever to get it installed! All so confusing! I'd rather just stick with good old fashioned antennas to pick up a few free channels! So retro! LOL!!! I can't survive without the Internet though!!!! It was so depressing without it! Good to hear from you my friend! Hang in there and have a happy April! :-)

Hey Sadie! Thanks for letting me know you got my e-mail! I don't have any Junk mail Yet, since I just started using my new email program! LOL! But, I'm sure eventually I'll be getting Junk mail! I Didn't have any problems changing my new email address here and on BAR. :-) So, I Didn't have to make a new user account. Yes! Maybe this site won't be shutting down after all! Yes, will see? Thanks!! I won't be seeing my Urologist till the end April. April is going to be a busy month for me. I have three Doctor Visits and have to go with my Mother to Her Doctor Visits too. And some other things I have to take care of! Plus, getting that Verizon copper to fiber wire installation for our land line phones too. Thanks!!! Sorry to hear that Time Warner Cable wasn't available in your area! A few months ago I seen commercials on TV about "SlingTV". I looked them up on the Internet. And looked at what they were offering. At that time they really didn't have much of what I like to watch. But, Maybe they have more content now? Maybe you might want to see what they are offering content wise now, if you're interested. In our apartment building we only have two choices, either Verizon Fios or Optimum for TV and Internet. Since my Mother and I want to have Cable TV we stayed with Optimum for that. And Now I have Internet with them too. "Optimum" used to be called "Cablevision", then they changed their name to "Optimum" around 8 years ago. "Optimum" is ONE of the Cable company's in the North East area. New York and the surrounding regions. We also have Comcast and Direct TV and the Dish Network in the North East too. But, we don't have it in our Building. Our Building doesn't allow tenants to install any satellite Dishes Too!! That's why we are stuck with just either Verizon or Optimum! I see you have the same problems where you are, with installing satellite Dishes to get those service providers! SUCKS!! I'm Glad they at least agreed to let you have Internet!! :-) Sorry to hear the maintenance man was over there taking forever to get it installed!! :-( Yes I agree, it's all so confusing!! :-( I see you rather just stick with good old fashioned antennas to pick up a few free channels!! Yes, So Retro! LOL!! ;-) And it Wouldn't cost you anything each month if you could do that!!! Our Building took down the big antenna on the roof of our building years ago!! So, I couldn't do anything like that either! :-( I Can't survive without the Internet Too!!!!!!! It was So Depressing without it for me too!!! So Glad We Both have Internet Again!!!! :-) Thanks!!! I've been busy. I just had to order a UPS /Back Unit for my Computer!! :-( The Batterys are Shot and the Unit is Very HOT to the touch!! It's always something, huh? :-( It should arrive soon!!! I Hope the new one works Good!!! Something more I had to spend money on!!! :-( I can't afford it!! But, without it my computer and internet won't run!!! I'm taking a chance using it right now. I heard if the Unit gets Too HOT it might Explode!!! :-( I Hope it arrives soon!!!
