Thanks for posting this picture!! It's a Great BOND picture of Roger Moore!!! I was Sad when I heard he died too!!! :-( He had died after a short battle with cancer. He played in many Bond films. Moonraker, A View To A Kill, Live And Let Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, Octopussy, and For Your Eyes Only. I Also liked his James Bond Movies!! And the Saint TV Show too!!

I Hope ALL is going Well with You My Friend!!! I Miss You!!!! I Hope We Catch Up SOON!!!!!!!
Hey Beatlebob! I miss you too! Thanks for posting all that stuff! It's weird, how I recently bought Roger Moore's autobiography book, shortly before he passed away. This happened only a week or so ago. How strange! I haven't read it yet though because I've been very busy lately. That's why I haven't been online much. But everything is going alright with me in general. Thanks for asking! It will be a bit sad reading his book now. But he sure did live a long life! Not alot of people make it up to that age! Did you hear about the lead singer of the band Soundgarden dying too? The news said it was most likely suicide. Sad! I have always liked the song "Black Hole Sun". Well I hope everything is going alright with you too. Please catch up soon! Enjoy the rest of May! :-)
Hey Sadie! I Sure Miss You Too!! You're Welcome for posting that stuff!! WOW!!! It is Strange that you recently bought Roger Moore's autobiography book, shortly before he passed away!! I see you haven't read the book yet because you've been very busy lately. I'm sure it will be a bit sad reading his book now! :-( I agree, he did live a long full life. Yes, not a lot of people make it up to that age! I Really liked him!! Mainly his roles in the Bond Films!! Yes, I did hear about the lead singer of the band Soundgarden dying too!!! SAD!! :-( Chris Cornell died on May 18th at the age of 52. Reports say he was not himself the night of May 18, when he is said to have hung himself in his hotel bathroom following a concert date in Detroit. At the MGM Grand hotel. I Really Liked Soundgarden!! And My Favorite Song by them was "Black Hole Sun" too!! I liked some other songs by them too! I remember seeing them doing that song on "SNL"! It was a Great performance of "Black Hole Sun"! I looked all over the Internet trying to find That SNL performance but, couldn't find it. :-( I guess copyright stuff from SNL? :-( I remember when Chris Cornell inducted the band "Heart" into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. He was good friends with Ann and Nancy Wilson. Really Sad what happened with Chris Cornell! :-( Kind of reminds me about the Horrible way Kurt Cobain died too!! Another one of my Favorite Lead Singers along with another Great Band "Nirvana"!! So Sad!! :-(
You're Welcome for asking!! I'm So Glad everything is going Alright with you in general!! I remember you telling me you had a lot of Doctor appointments you had to go to. Mostly routine stuff. So, I'm guessing Everything so far is going Well for you in that respect!! :-) One of the reasons you've been very busy lately. Thanks My Friend!!!! I think I finally straightened out the mess I had with Medicaid. I'm going to have to make an appointment to see my Gastro Doctor for another test soon. But, other than that the same old stuff with me. Please Catch Up Soon Too!!! Thanks!! I Hope you Enjoy the rest of May Too!! :-)
Turn Up the Sound:
Hey Beatlebob! :-)
Unfortunately I couldn't find any videos either of Soundgarden performing on SNL or Chris Cornell inducting Heart into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame! I bet they were great though!
Thanks for posting those videos! I don't think I had ever heard "Pretty Noose" before but it was a good song and of course so was "Black Hole Sun" too. I haven't seen that video in a long time. Thanks! I knew they had another song with the word "black" in it but had to look it up online to remember the exact name. "Fell On Black Days" is it. I don't know much about them though. I'm more into Nirvana! Yes, it is sadly reminiscent of Kurt Cobain's death! Both bands were popular in the early 1990s.
I saw this Paul McCartney Ticket for sale online! Too bad I don't have $500 for it! LOL!!! Eventhough it is pricey, I actually thought it was a reasonable price for a front row seat! Those are usually around $2 thousand! Crazy! All I can do is pray for a miracle! I have no idea where I can come up with that amount of money on such short notice! It breaks my heart everytime Paul and/or Ringo are near me and I can't make it!! :-(
Have a fab day, my friend!!!! :-)

Hey Sadie! Mike Pell sent me links to some Twitter pages. Have to admit it was the First Time I was on Twitter. LOL!! First I went to the Paul McCartney Page. I read "You Gave Me The Answer’ – Sgt. Pepper Special". "So imagine how excited we were when we found out there would be a special 50th anniversary release for the album responsible for changing ours, and so many other people’s lives. This also gave us the ideal opportunity to conduct a special ‘You Gave Me The Answer’ with Paul, pulling some of the most asked questions we’ve seen posted online by you, plus a few of our own that have been in our head since watching that documentary.
Our Q&A with Paul took place a few weeks before Apple announced the details of the release to the world, and we typed it up a few days after hearing Giles Martin’s new stereo mixes at Abbey Road’s Studio Two – the very room where the album was recorded! You’re going to love it. As someone who knows the songs inside out, we're happy to say you can hear every instrument on this album that we’ve “known for all these years” like you’ve never heard them before. The new clarity is incredible and, indeed, "a splendid time is guaranteed for all!”
Loved the Q&A with Paul!!!!! :-)
Then went to the Ringo Starr page, The Beatles page, John Lennon page, and the George Harrison page. Loved browsing through them!!! I Bookmarked them.
Have a Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!! Hope To Hear From You Soon, My Friend!!!! :-)
There are no birthdays today
