We've always known Kurt Cobain was a huge Beatles fan (he wrote Nirvana's "About a Girl" after listening to Meet the Beatles! on repeat for a day) but until recently, very few people had ever heard him cover them.

Today, a lost demo of Cobain singing Paul McCartney's A Hard Day's Night ballad "And I Love Her" hit the internet, and it's every bit as gorgeous and haunting as you'd expect.

I've been listening to alot of Nirvana lately! This is interesting to hear!

I love Kurt he was so talented and good looking!! ;-)

Thanks for posting this video Sadie!!! :-) I've seen it before but, enjoyed seeing it again!! Yes, Kurt was a Big Beatles Fan, and he Really Loved John Lennon!!

I've always been a fan of Nirvana!! Especially Kurt!! He was a Great Talent!!! And yes, he was a Good Looking guy too!! A tragic loss!! :-( Yes, This lost demo is Very Interesting!! I agree! "it's every bit as gorgeous and haunting as you'd expect."

I Really Enjoy the Nirvana Unplugged Video that was aired on MTV!!! What a Great Performance!!! I have the video!

Hey Beatlebob! I didn't write that "gorgeous, haunting" description. I just copied and pasted it from a Rolling Stone magazine online article. LOL! That's awesome you've always been a Nirvana fan. Yes, he was so beautiful! It's sad how he took his own life at such a young age though. I know how that feels, to want to die, especially when you're under the influence. That's another one of the reasons why I love him is cause he was a big Beatles fan! Speaking of 90s music, have you ever heard of the band "Stone Temple Pilots"? Maybe you know "Interstate Love Song"? The singer Scott Weiland was found dead in a tour bus the other day at only age 48. Sad! He was also in a band called "Velvet Revolver" with Slash. He was probably on drugs too. That's why I stay sober!

Hey Sadie! Yeah, I thought you copied and pasted the first two paragraphs, because it has the three highlighted links in them. ;-) LOL! But, when listening to Kurt singing "And I Love Her", I agree with That Description!! Yep! I've been a Nirvana fan since I first seen the video of the performing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on MTV! From their second album Nevermind. Then started listening to their other albums and Really got into them!! I like a lot of their songs!! YES! It's Sad that he took his life at such a young age!! :-( I was shocked when I heard that! And the way he took his life was Horrible! :-( I too know how that feels, to want to die, from depression and especially when you're under the influence!! :-( Yes, I loved him too because he was such a Big Beatles Fan!! I thought that was So Cool! There were a good few bands in the 90's that I liked. But, Nirvana Really brought a Fresh New Sound to the forefront at that time!! "Scott Weiland died of cardiac arrest as his bandmate was busted for cocaine possession, according to reports. Police said they found cocaine in the singer’s bedroom and elsewhere on the bus. Officials have not confirmed Weiland’s cause of death."
I would imagine that cocaine caused his cardiac arrest!! :-(
I'm Glad You Stay Sober!!!! Since the early 80's I've stayed sober too!! Except for a few beers on and off. But, I don't even drink beer anymore!
