I just took this quiz! http://www.buzzfeed.com/catesevilla/surprise-theres-an-airplane-her...

Which Woman From "Mad Men" Are You?

You got: Megan Draper

Bonjour, Megan! Compassionate and caring to a fault (and willing to put up with a lot of bullshit), you follow your dreams even when it seems that you’re totally alone. You do you, girl, you do you.

I've only seen that show a few times so I don't really know the characters that well lol I gave it a try because it's set in the 1960s time period, but I found it kind of boring. I'd probably like it better if I watched it more but I don't have cable television anymore and I don't think it's on Netflix. Those quiz results are funny. "You do you, girl. You do you." LOL!
YES! It IS on Netflix instant afterall! I'm watching it right now! I haven't seen that show since way back in Season One when I had the AMC channel. It's alot more interesting now!
There's been 7 seasons since I last watched? LOL I sure got alot of catching up to do! The original recording of Tomorrow Never Knows is in one episode!

I never seen this show. I don't like any of the New TV Shows because of the Vulgarity towards people and Violence they push in many shows these days! Bullying and screwing people over is the name of the game, these days. And the Vulgar Display of Power to get to the Top in Corporations and Government etc! The way the main characters (mainly the male ones) treat people as they climb to the top, makes me sick! Like in John's song Working Class Hero, "There's room at the top I'm telling you still, but first you must learn how to smile as you kill, if you want to be like the folks on the hill." A lot of people seem to enjoy this type of entertainment these days. I Don't! That's why I Think this show among others catches so much attention! The writers of these shows know this. Even though This show is set in the 60's, which would interest me. I still don't Think I would like it for the reasons I stated here. Because of the Ad Agency main character in the show Probably treats people like shit! But, maybe I'm wrong about this show since I never seen it? I might give this show a look and see if I like it.  ;-)

Which Woman From “Mad Men” Are You?

You got: Sally Draper

For lack of a better phrase, you’re not a girl, not yet a woman. You’re headstrong and very opinionated. Both of your parents are a total handful and things are pretty complicated for you right now, but things will get better. (Hopefully.)

That quiz was fun! LOL, that result is so true in my case... almost creepy how accurate it is to my current situation! Although I was hoping to get the redhead (Joan) because she's my favorite character from Mad Men so far.

I agree with Beatlebob! I don't like too many modern television shows because of all the vulgarity (today's movies are even worse!) I don't like the idea of people controlling and bossing around others to the point that they treat them badly either. Those Lennon lyrics really make sense. If that show wasn't set in the '60s, I probably wouldn't even be interested in watching it, because shows with an office setting are usually boring. LOL!

If you're going to give it a try, I'd recommend...

"Hands & Knees" (Season 4, Episode 10)"Lazy Lazarus" (Season 5, Episode 8)

Both of those episodes have quite a few Beatles references! I think you'll enjoy those particular episodes, but I'm not sure how you'd feel about the show itself. After watching it some more, my opinion hasn't really changed much.

I still just think it's alright/okay/average. I'd rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

Sadie: I see you agree about most of the modern TV shows and I surely agree that today's movies are even worse in that respect!! LOL! Yeah, those Lennon lyrics really make sense when it comes to people controlling and bossing around others to the point that they treat them badly!!

I see what you mean about watching the show because it's set in the 60's. Thanks So Much for the recommendations!! I'll have to see IF I can find those Two episodes, maybe I can find them on my cable TV's Free On Demand? If not, I'll just watch one of the episodes when it's on.

I just found "Lazy Lazarus" on Free On Demand "AMC" on my TV out of the Two you mentioned! :-)

I'm Watching it Right Now! My TV is just a foot left of my Computer. LOL! Yes, they mentioned AHDN! And mentioning other British Invasion Bands too. :-) I like the setting from the 60's, the clothes, the phones, etc etc! :-) LOL @ that lame song that guy was playing on the record player for the Beatles thing they were working on!! Loved when the main character put "Revolver" on the record player! And playing "Tomorrow Never Knows"!! Is there a second part to that episode? Was wondering what they came up with for The Beatles project? The show wasn't bad at all!! I did find it a "little" boring though. LOL!  ;-) I DID Enjoy this episode because of the Beatles references!! I'll keep my eye out for "Hands & Knees"!! Thanks again!! :-) I Think the show is Alright!! I'd rate it 3 out of 5 stars myself!  ;-) I'll have to watch a couple more episodes when I can! Thanks!  :-)

I'm glad you gave it a try, Beatlebob! I agree, that show is not bad, just a bit boring sometimes! I'm not sure if "Lazy Lazarus" is a two parter. I was surprised when the main character turned off "Tomorrow Never Knows" at the end of the episode. Well it is a weird song! LOL. The episode called "Hands & Knees" just briefly mentions Beatles tickets for Shea Stadium a few times. I'm interested in watching this show now just for the re-created retro-ness and pop culture references alone! :-)

Sadie: Yeah, I'm Glad I gave it a try too! Yes, it's not bad at all, just a little boring sometimes. ;-) Well, maybe we'll come across an episode sometime to see IF "Lazy Lazarus" is a two parter? I was surprised too when the main character turned off "Tomorrow Never Knows" at the end of the episode!! Maybe was too Far Out for him? LOL! Thanks for letting me know "Hands & Knees" just briefly mentions Beatles tickets for Shea Stadium a few times!!

re: "I'm interested in watching this show now just for the re-created retro-ness and pop culture references alone! :-)"

I agree! I'll have to check out more episodes for the Same reason!!  :-)

I LOVE the show! I've got several friends that actually throw Mad Men watching parties, which makes it even better!
