Hey Sadie! Yes, I know Alyssabeth and I know she has blonde hair. I don't know why? But, I just thought BeatleNut had blonde hair too? LOL! I Understand why you removed the pictures of Beatle Nut!! Thanks! From what you said, it's Good you did!! I didn't know her real name was Ashley? That's a Nice name. No, I Would Never Photoshop her in anything!!! Besides, you deleted her pictures here. I remember BeatleNut talking about that she actually had an internet stalker on MySpace once!!! I think she talked about that on the Site You used to have. Or,maybe you told me about that? I forget! But, I knew about it!! So, I Would Never Photoshop her Picture even if here picture was still Here!! So, I know she is paranoid about something like that!! I don't blame her for feeling paranoid after what happened to her that time! I'm Glad she trusted you enough to be your Facebook friend too!! It's Great that you talk with her on Facebook pretty much everyday!! :-) She's a Nice Person!! I know Beatle Girl hasn't talked to you in several months!! :-( Although you notice the Facebook messenger often says she's "online now". :-( But, that might be a Mistake? Almost every time I come on this site and whenever I go to our Beatles' Site, when I'm logged in I notice her Icon on the Front Page has that little green circle under it lit up. Like she is here online now!!! But, IF she was I would imagine she would respond to what we posted here!! There would be No reason for her Not to want to talk with us or respond to our comments we make here!!! So, I Think the Facebook messenger thing just might be a mistake saying she's online. I just don't know why she hasn't been on the sites for a long time now?? I just Hope she is Alright!!!

Yes, unfortunately most electronics are made overseas!! Almost everything these days are made overseas!! :-( Yeah, that's why I went with the place that's in the united states to get a computer that specializes in quality! I wanted my computer to Last!! I can't afford to buy a new computer every few years!! The last Mac Desktop I had I bought in 2003 and it lasted to 2012. Another reason I went for a Windows PC in 2012 was because Apple didn't make a Desktop computer anymore. And that's what I wanted. They only made the iMac and Laptops. I like the iMac but, it's not like a Real Desktop mini tower computer. And if you go for an iMac with two hard drives and a lot of Ram they cost a Fortune!! Also, at the time a lot of the iMacs had problems with yellow streaks in the Monitor. On all the Mac forums so many people were complaining that Apple didn't fix that problem!! A lot of people returned them!! What a shame! Some of them had Good screens and the people loved them!! But, that was another reason I didn't go for the iMac at the time. I see you have Windows 8'1 but, yeah that's already outdated with Windows 10. It Sure Is annoying how they come up with new versions so soon, making users have to upgrade!!! :-( I Like Windows 7. I see you had Windows 7 too. I see Windows XP was your favorite. But that doesn't work anymore, I know. :-( I can't even upgrade my computer to Windows 10 because some of the components in my computer wouldn't work right with Windows 10. Also, my computer came with an OEM version of Windows 7 not the Retail Version!! That would cost me a lot of money to upgrade to Windows 10 through Microsoft's site!!! :-( SUCKS!! And I Agree with you, the newer the version, the more confusing!!! :-( Thanks for saying 65 is actually not that old!!! ;-) Well, when Paul sang "When I'm Sixty Four" in 1967 people who were 64 seemed ancient and very square! LOL!! ;-) But, yeah he's 75 now!!! LOL!!! I see you like seeing your Shrink too. I agree, It's the only appointment I don't mind because all they do is just talk and give you your prescriptions. LOL! I also, hate seeing regular doctors, specialists, eye doctors and most of all the Dentist!!! :-( Evolves so much more and usually painful!!! :-( I see you had a therapy appointment this month but won't have another one until August. That's not bad! I see my Shrink once a month. Every 4 weeks. And that's all I can deal with because of the traveling issue!!! It took Forever to get home again yesterday!!! I was beat when I got home!!! :-( I see you heard of "The Bill Dana Show", but never seen it either. I don't even remember  "The Bill Dana Show"? So Sorry to hear all of the cleaning you had to do lately made you literally Sick!! :-( Now you're sneezing and have a sore throat even though it's summer time!!! :-( WTF??? LOL!! Maybe because of dust and summertime allergions?? It Sure Does Suck being Sick this time of the year!! And having to clean the home anyway, because your apartment does monthly inspections and they've already complained about your home. Even though you've only been living there for a few months!! That SUCKS!! :-( I Know you had enough DAMN landlord problems in 4 other places you lived in before!! :-( And now you're going through this kind of Crap again!!! So Sorry to hear it!! :-( Yeah, maybe you should just live in a yellow submarine!! LOL!!!! Tomorrow I have to do Laundry FUN!!!! Usually do the Laundry every Saturday. FUN!! LOL!  :-( And the washing machines in this building Suck!!! Sometimes have to run the wash through the machines twice because the machines don't rinse right leaving suds in the laundry!! Oh well, has to be done! Thanks!!! I was looking forward to catching up with You Today too!!! I Hope you get rid of your sneezing and sore throat SOON!!!! Hope you Feel Better Soon!!! I'll try to be online after laundry FUN tomorrow. Otherwise, will catch up on Sunday!!!!! Thanks!! Have a FAB Day and a FAB weekend and Feel Better Soon, My Friend!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob. Good to hear from you! I don't know why BeatleGirl is giving me the cold shoulder. She hasn't talked to me since April 13th. I don't really trust that little green "online now" dot on the Beatles site, but Facebook messenger is different. It even tells me the exact time she was online (such as "8 minutes ago", etc...) and I noticed she still posts stuff on her Facebook page too (as recently as this morning) but for some weird reason she won't answer or even read any of my messages. (They don't even have a little checkmark to indicate they've been read, just an arrow which means that they've been sent. And I don't think there's any mistakes in Facebook messenger like you said.) Hmm... Hopefully we're still friends. I see no reason for her to be mad at me. At least you and BeatleNut are still talking to me. I'm so relieved that the home inspection is finally over. Although they still had some complaints! That angers me, since I worked so hard cleaning that I even got sick from all the dust and debris. I'm feeling somewhat better now though and my room looks better than ever. I've never met a landlord that wasn't a "slumlord"! I understand your frustration over your apartments' laundromat. The one in my apartment complex is very small, hot inside, and overpriced. Plus there's only 2 machines there. Just one washer and one dryer. They don't even have a coin change machine! Just 2 vending machines. Yes, I should just live in a Yellow Sub. That would solve my problem of not owning a vehicle too. LOL!!! I am so ready for July. Eventhough I won't be going to the Paul McCartney concert, I might buy a new computer and I'm looking forward to the Ringo Starr birthday celebrations! Enjoy the rest of June! Have a fab day, my friend! :-)

Hey Sadie! Good to hear from you too!! Couldn't go online yesterday. After Laundry FUN I had other things to do at home! Was a long FUN day!

OH!! I see what you mean!!! So, BeatleGirl Has been online over at Facebook. I wonder Why she hasn't read or answered any of your messages???? I also, see No Reason for her to be mad at you!!! I wonder why she is giving you the cold shoulder?? Hopefully you are still friends!!! Maybe she just doesn't want to have anything to do with our Two sites and the people who belong to them? For now, anyway! That's my only guess?? I'm Sure you don't understand this!! I Don't either!!! :-(

YES!! You Still have Me and BeatleNut to talk to!!! I just don't understand what's going on with BeatleGirl?? Hopefully she will finally get back to you on Facebook sometime!! It's very Odd!! I'm Sure you're so relieved that the home inspection is finally over with!!! They Still had some complaints?? I'm sure that Angers you!!! Yeah, you worked so hard cleaning and you even got sick from all the dust and debris!!! :-( I'm Glad to hear you're feeling at least somewhat better now!!! And your room looks better than ever! :-) Yes, a lot of landlords are like Slumlords!!! That SUCKS!!! Very Frustrating!!! A Real Pain In The Ass!!! I know you had prior problems with landlords!! I see you understand my frustration over my apartment building's laundry room!!! DAMN!! The one in your apartment complex is very small, hot inside, and overpriced!! Plus there's only 2 machines there. Just one washer and one dryer. They don't even have a coin change machine! Just 2 vending machines. That SUCKS!!!!! :-( The laundry room in the basement of our building has 2 big washing machines and 4 smaller washing machines. And has 6 large dryers. But, we have 100 apartments in our building. The problem is the washing machines SUCK, they don't work right and there are usually 2 that don't even work at all on any given day!! The dryers seem to work Okay. But, sometimes one or two of them don't work on some days! We have a card to insert into the vending machine there to add money to our card to use with the washers and dryers. But, it only takes bills, not coins. And the bills have to be very Flat when inserting the money into the machine while our card is in it. It usually spits the bills back out and says try again. It's a real pain!! Then we insert the card in the washers and dryers to use them. The room is Very Narrow and it's hard to get move around in there with our laundry cart. And it's Very Hot inside the laundry room too!! Our's are overpriced too!!! And sometimes we have to run the wash through the washing machines twice because the washing machines don't rinse the wash good enough!! Which costs us even more money!! SUCKS!!! So, You and I both have very bad laundry rooms!!! :-( Yeah, I would like to live in a Yellow Sub too!!! LOL!! That would solve a lot of our problems including not owning a vehicle too!!! LOL!!!! ;-) I am so ready for July too!! I'm Sorry you won't be going to the Paul McCartney concert!!! I know you just can't afford it! :-( Hopefully in 2018!! I see you might buy a new computer. That's Great!!! If you can, I Hope you get a Nice One!!! BEST Wishes with doing that!!! Keep me posted about it!!! I'm still trying to hunt down the antivirus software. It takes time and a lot of research!!! Don't want to get something that will mess up my computer!!! Yeah July, is Ringo Starr's Birthday! Looking forward to that too!!! :-) And the AHDN movie was released on July 6th in the U.K. Oh yeah, tomorrow the U.S. version of the AHDN album release, June 26, 1964 by United Artists Records. ;-) Thanks!!! Enjoy the rest of June, My Friend!!! And Have a FAB Day!! :-)

Gary DeCarlo, the lead singer of Steam, has died at the age of 75.

DeCarlo was the lead singer of Gary and Steam, a band that rose to fame with their number one hit "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye." The song originally topped the charts in 1969.

I've actually never seen who sings that song until now. What a great "one hit wonder". RIP.

Oh! I just read this: “When this song became a hit, an entire album was commissioned and a group created for it” also with the name “Steam.” But DeCarlo wasn’t invited to tour with it, even though he had recorded it. Indeed, he “was asked not to reveal that it was him on the record, since there was a different singer performing it at live appearances.”

So it's not the real singer in that video? Interesting! Anyways, Rest In Peace to the actual singer behind that tune. I always hear it on my local Oldies radio station.

I read the "na na na" and "hey hey hey" was sang for a temporary placement with better lyrics to be added later (such as Paul McCartney's working title of "Yesterday" being called "Scrambled Eggs", LOL!) but the studio heard that early version and liked it just the way it was. Thus a #1 hit was accidentally born. It is a popular song at sporting events (featured in the movie "Remember The Titans") and even in politics.

After the House voted to pass the GOP's Obamacare replacement plan, Democrats waved and sang "na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, goodbye" to Republicans facing reelection in 2018. Steam's 1969 hit, "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye," has had a longtime presence in political history. After Barack Obama was elected president in Nov. 2008, supporters gathered in front of George W. Bush's White House and sang it repeatedly. It dates back even further. According to John Marshall at Talking Points Memo, Republicans sang this song to Democrats when President Clinton's tax bill passed the House in 1993.

I imagine millions will be singing it to Trump when he is no longer President of the USA too! LOL!!!

I'm going to watch the free fireworks downtown on the 4th. Maybe that song will come on during it! A groovy classic! :-)

Hey Sadie! Thanks for posting the Video! I remember the song Well!!! Yes it is a Great One Hit Wonder!! RIP Gary DeCarlo  :-(
Thanks for the other information you found!!

Bill Steer was the lead singer when they were on tour and in the Video I would imagine. I found this:

When this song became a hit, an entire album was commissioned and a group created for it. The song's singer and co-writer, Gary DeCarlo, sang backup on the other tracks but refused to sing lead on them, since he was not invited to tour with the band and hated the idea of other guys taking credit for his work. The group assembled to tour as Steam was: Bill Steer (lead singer), Jay Babins (guitar), Mike Daniels (bass), Ray Corries (drums), Tom Zuke (guitar), Hank Schorz (keyboards).

This song's lead singer Gary DeCarlo was asked not to reveal that it was him on the record, since there was a different singer performing it at live appearances. He says that his manager Paul Leka and record man Bob Reno placated him by promising to get him a hit as a solo artist, but that never happened.

When we asked DeCarlo about how he felt when he heard the song, he replied: "It was a double-edged sword for me when I would hear it. I was and still am very proud and it's a great feeling to know that so many people still like it. But back then I wanted to open my car window or yell to people on the train that it was me they were hearing. I was very green about the business side, all I wanted to do was sing, create songs, produce, anything that had to do with music. Paul was telling people that it happened too quick for me, and because he was my manager, publisher, producer and longtime friend, I thought he had my back, which he didn't.

I felt I had to listen to them because this was a shot for me with people that knew the business, even though my stomach felt like I had razors in it. I really fell into a state of depression and went for medication to try and deal with it. Everyone believed Paul's side of the story because they felt that he went on in the business and as they say my stuff bombed, like my recordings were garbage. My records never got the exposure that was needed to let the public decide if they were good or not. I have had my songs on YouTube and have gotten very favorable reactions from people, including musicians that I've done shows with."

Yeah, just like with "Scrambled Eggs"! LOL!!! ;-) Yes, I've seen the movie "Remember The Titans" many times! With Denzel Washington and is based on a true story. It was a Great Movie!!!

I remember those political events when they sang "na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, goodbye"! LOL!!

I would imagine millions will be singing it to Trump when he is no longer President of the USA too, including me!!! LOL!!!!

I Hope you Enjoy watching the free fireworks downtown on the 4th!! Yes, maybe that song will come on during it?? Yeah, a Groovy Classic!!! :-)

Sad news for Beatles fans. Deborah Scarfe who was the Receptionist at Apple has just passed away.

RIP.

Oh yeah, and I read about this online a while ago but forgot to post it here.

Rosalie Hamlin, the lead singer of Rosie and the Originals who recorded the early '60s one-hit wonder classic “Angel Baby,” has died at age 71.

A note by a family member posted on the group's official website said she passed away on Thursday (March 30). The cause of Hamlin’s death was unknown as of press time, but she had suffered from fibromyalgia for years.

“Very Saddened to say that my mom Rosalie Hamlin passed away today March 30, 2017,” the statement on the website began. “She was 71 and passed in her sleep. She didn't perform anymore, and had removed herself from the music scene because of health concerns. She did still paint and tended a very lovely garden. She will be greatly missed by so many. Thank you for all your wishes and time and kind words. It meant a lot to her. God bless.”

I've always loved that song! RIP Rosie!

I just read this:

Actress Elsa Martinelli, known to U.S. audiences for her breakout role in 1955’s The Indian Fighter opposite Kirk Douglas, died Saturday.

I also knew her from the John Wayne movie "Hatari!" and "The V.I.P.'s" with Elizabeth Taylor.

Rest In Peace.

WOW!! I didn't know that! So Sad! :-(
