Beatlebob, I agree that Foghat band member was still too young to go! Only in his 60s! They really did have some of the greatest Classic Rock songs ever! "Slow Ride" is the best!! I'm sure you do know who John Gavin is. He does look familiar! So does Vic Damone. RIP to them! Have a fab week, my friend! :-)

Hey Sadie! That's Great that you won't be as busy this week as you were last week!! Gives you time to finally catch up on this site and the Beatles one!!! :-) It SURE IS a Relief to see that both of them are still up and running!!!! :-) Yes, although it's Sad without Candy O. being here! I'll get to the comments on the Elvis & Doreen Tracy pictures here, as soon as I Can!! I'm running late on time today. Had to get stuff ready for my Shrink's appointment for tomorrow and trim my beard etc!! LOL! But, I WILL get to them!!! I'm Glad you are looking forward to the George Harrison stuff I'll be adding to the Beatles site soon for his birthday celebration!!! :-) They will be Old one's that I made, though! Hope you don't mind!!

Yeah, I hated that I had to cancel my appointment with my Urologist because of the Medicaid mess!! Thanks for the Good Luck wishes when I see him in March!!! :-) And Thanks!!! I'm Hoping the other problem I have with Medicaid will be Finally taken care of SOON!!! Thank You for the kind wishes with taking my Mother to her Podiatric appointment and while traveling to see my shrink soon too!!! The weather wasn't too bad yesterday and the appointment went well! :-) Had to go to the store after that. I'm Not looking forward to my Shrink appointment Tomorrow, though!!! It's supposed to be in the 60's, with Rain!!! It Warmed up here. But, the rain is going to make the trip there and back take even longer!!! FUN!!! Oh well. Have to go!!! Yeah, the weather has been Crazy!!! :-(

Thanks!!! Well, the first time I had to change the lamp in my Mother's TV it was a bit confusing and I had to do it a few times for it to fit just right!! If it isn't in there exactly right matching up with the electrical prongs it won't work!! LOL!!! But, since then it wasn't as hard replacing the lamp. I Hope when it's time it will go as good as it did the last time!! Well, since you don't have one of those fancy TV's it's no wonder you can barely even figure out how to turn one on!! LMAO!!!! ;-) I had trouble when we first got my Mother's TV too!!! I couldn't figure out how to do anything with it!!! LOL!!!! I had to do a lot of research and reading the Thick manual to set things up right!!! What a Pain in the Ass that Was!!! I'm used to the old Simple TV's like the one you have!!! The New TV's are so Damn complicated!! Yeah, after that First message on her TV about the Lamp, I figured I'd better get a new lamp soon!! Ahead of time before we got more messages like that, before it completely blows out!! LOL! You're So Welcome for commenting on the vintage Valentine's Day pictures you posted!!! I see you posted another person that passed away. Sorry to hear about Vic Damone!! :-( Thanks for posting the nice picture of him!! I sure remember him!! He did some songs from the late 40's through the 60's and was a guest performer on a lot of variety shows on TV. I remember seeing him on a few of those shows.

Hey Beatlebob! I'm glad you enjoyed all the vintage Valentine's Day photos I posted, and the two Valentine cards I made in Photoshop. I didn't have much time to do anything fancy this year so I just quickly searched for any pictures of David Cassidy that looked right for Valentine's Day and found those pictures of him holding a rose and wearing a suit. I'm glad you liked the text! There's so many different cursive fonts that I forgot what that particular one was called, but it's cool how it automatically added little hearts above the letter I. Perfect! That Beatles lyric wallpaper was not made by me though, I just found it online and wanted to share. Here's 2 more David Cassidy pictures. I didn't add anything to them because they already look Valentine's theme enough! ;-)

I still have The Cars Valentine cards from a few years ago too! Maybe I should post them again to get Candy O's attention? ;-)  Glad your mother's appointment went well. Good luck seeing your shrink on Thursday. Hope to catch up with you on Friday. Have a good weekend, my friend! :-)

RIP Comedian Marty Allen

Marty Allen, of the comedy duo "Allen & Rossi" and a frequent performer on shows like The Ed Sullivan Show and The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, has died at age 95 from complications with pneumonia.

I read that news this morning and wanted to briefly stop by this site again to mention it here. He was so funny. RIP!

Hey Sadie! I Really Enjoyed ALL of the vintage Valentine's Day photos you posted! All of them were Great!! :-) And I Really Enjoyed the Two Valentine cards you made in Photoshop!!! :-) Even though you didn't have much time to do anything fancy this year, they Still came out Great!! I clicked on them to view in full size. The Top one is a Great Photo of David Cassidy with all the Hearts that I'm sure were sent to him by fans!! The Photo is a Great Quality one!!! I Love It!! :-) The second one looks like it came from a magazine, and perfect for Valentine's Day too!! I Liked what it said in the text bubbles!! Nice!! :-) Thanks again for sharing them!!! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! WOW!!! What an amazing collection of Beatles stuff that fan has! Thank you and Mike Pell for sharing that video with me! I love collecting! I am in awe of some people's impressive collections. Of course, I can't afford to collect as much stuff as I'd like to, but I still try to get a few new things every month! You're welcome for the David Cassidy pictures! Speaking of collections, does my digital photo collection of him on my computer count? It's in the thousands now! Much bigger than any physical collection of mine! LOL!!!! Yes, that sepia tone collage is from an old teen magazine. I have many scans from vintage mags about him and/or The Partridge Family. In the other color photo, he really was showing off some of the Valentine cards fans sent him. It's not Photoshopped or edited at all. I agree, it's pretty good quality! Glad you enjoyed! Well since Valentine's Day is over now, I won't be posting The Cars ones, but I've noticed Candy O.'s username has been showing up on the front page of this site lately. I wonder if that means she's recently been here?? If so, hopefully she will finally say something. My last attempt to reach her in this new year on Instagram was unsuccessful, along with all the messages I sent her last year on Facebook. She seems inactive everywhere online other than Spotify. Sad!!! It's been nearly a year since we last heard from her!! Now would be a great time for her to return to The Beatles site and celebrate George Harrison birthday month with us. Speaking of which, when are you planning to post your George Photoshops over there? I think now is a good time to, since it's this upcoming weekend! Of course I don't mind if they are recycled old Photoshops of yours. When my old computer crashed, I lost any of them I had saved, so seeing them again feels almost like the first time! :-)

That's one of my favorite TV shows ever and I always planned on getting every season on DVD someday. Just like I plan on someday visiting Graceland. Glad you enjoyed that video of Elvis singing Teddy Bear! Yes, it is in great quality and that's one of his best early tunes! 

I'm glad I don't have to worry about any more appointments until March. How about you or your mother? Are you both all caught up or do you still have some more stuff scheduled soon? Is your March 16th appointment with the Urologist still on or was it cancelled since he's going on vacation and you still haven't got the Medicaid problem totally straightened out yet? I'm sure you're Glad that you don't have to worry about any more appointments until March!! :-) So far this month my Mother and I don't have any Doctor visits coming up. I still have my new Urologist visit on March 16th. I had to cancel my last visit with him because of my Medicaid problems, and made the next visit with him for March 16th because he went on vacation. The following week I have to see my Shrink again. And so far on March 27th I go with my Mother to an eye doctor appointment! So Far that's what we have Doctor appointment wise for March, unless something else comes up before then. You never know? Do you have Three Doctor visits in March?? No, my other Medicaid problem Still Isn't straightened out yet!! :-( Still seeing when that one will be straightened out? But, at least I have Medicaid coverage till the end of April!! At Least That!! :-)

Perfect! Thank you for finally posting the birthday Photoshops both here and over at our Beatles site! I really enjoyed looking at all of them! I didn't even remember a few, so it felt like the first time viewing! Thanks again!! :-)

Since this is the RIP part of the site, I want to mention the tragic Parkland Florida High School shooting. Very sad!!! I can't believe how often mass shootings in America are happening lately. We're not even three months into this new year yet and there's already been a reported eight shootings at US schools that have resulted in injury or death. Seventeen people have been confirmed dead in the latest shooting. How awful!!! RIP to those 17 people.

Really?? Ann's username has been showing up on the Beatles site lately too? I only noticed it appear here sometimes, although it could just be a glitch of some sort (maybe it shows up every time a member signs in, since she's the administrator, like you said) but it could also mean that she's still checking up on the sites every now and then, which is a good thing. I just wish she would finally say something. I can't fathom how she seems done with us and the sites forever! Dosen't she like The Beatles and retro things anymore??? Dosen't she consider us friends anymore??? Even her Spotify listening history rarely has any Beatles/solo Beatle or Oldies music anymore. SAD!!! :-( 

Today I get to finally pick up my new glasses at the Eye Doctor. YAY! That's all I have left to do for February, other than the usual buying groceries, doing laundry and chores, etc... I should have plenty of free time to be online next week! And with new glasses to see pictures more clearly! LOL!!! ;-) I am glad that my apartment's routine monthly inspection was called off this month due to bad weather. But to be honest I'm not really looking forward to next month. I hate appointments! I'm all booked up for March! Looks like you will be having a busy March too! But we will still catch up whenever possible. I can't believe both of the sites are still up and running! Not that I'm complaining! LOL!!! I just figured in 2018 they'd both be over with, especially now with Administrator Ann's inactivity. If anything happens to them in March though, you know where to find me! :-)

They say they're going to hold the Politicians responsible if another mass shooting like this happens, and will vote them out in the 2018 midterm elections and in 2020 too!!! Keep it up Protestors!!!!

No, they are just showing up in shades of white and black on my screen. :-( But, looking at them Now, they seem like they would be in color. I tried researching how to make a GIF but it got too confusing! LOL!!! Thanks again for sharing that, even if you didn't make it. George Harrison's birthday is finally here! YAY!!!! :-)

It's ironic and sad but true how the United States is supposed to be the best place in the world to live, yet it's the only area where mass shootings occur so often. I remember Columbine and what a big deal it was. Now with bad news like that happening all the time, these tragedies seem almost normal! Even more awful how Trump suggested that public schools should carry firearms in case of emergency. Making teachers and school staff act like police is not a clever suggestion. What a way to handle gun control! With more guns!!! Ridiculous!!!! It makes no sense to me how the NRA and Politicians are so affiliated! Safety concerns should always be their main priority! I also doubt the gun laws will change much. :-(

Thanks for congratulating me on getting new glasses! I had been wearing broken ones for several months. I'm glad to finally have a new frame and prescription, but still upset over Ann continuing to give us the cold shoulder. It's a relief that the sites are still around even without her participation though. This may sound a bit silly, but one of the main reasons I seldom visit the Beatles site anymore is because the layout (which hasn't been changed since last Independence Day) still looks patriotic, and I've been feeling anything but patriotic after Trump became President! It's good to see that you, Mike Pell, and Anthony Capucci still participate in it sometimes though. It's nowhere near as active as it once was, but at least it's not totally forgotten! :-)

I'm not sure why they are only showing up in black & white for you? Which particular browser are you using? I'm using the "Google Chrome Browser" on a regular Acer PC computer. Are you on an Apple MAC or any other special type of computer? Also, what version of Windows are you on? Mine is the latest, Windows 10. The small colorful hearts also show up just fine on my other computer which still has Windows 8.1. Well those are just some of the reasons that could be why it's not showing up the same for you as it does for me. Not a big problem though, at least they're showing up as heart symbols and not something else! LOL!!!
