Is it snowing yet where you're at? Still no snow here but that's a good thing! Especially since I do alot of walking around town to stores, etc... The weather has grown colder, but I don't want it to start snowing just yet!

I see you were also too sad to post anything on the Beatles site for John Lennon Day this December 8. I certainly understand. I didn't post anything in memory of George Harrison in November either. I couldn't find much time to be online and anyways, I've been too depressed! I agree it's sad how there still continues to be pretty much nothing but bad news about David Cassidy even after his death! I saw a National Enquirer magazine at the store yesterday with a gossip column about the end of his life with alcoholism, etc. Made me sick!! Have some respect people!!! I bought every other recent magazine I could find that mentioned him except for that one! :-(

By the way, you don't have to respond to every single one of my comments on the pictures. Unless you want to. Just let me know you read them, and that's enough. :-)

Yes, it starting snowing here yesterday around noon and kept snowing when I went to bed. It's not snowing anymore, and it seems we just got around 3 or 4 inches. But, it's Very Cold and windy here today! Supposed to be in the 30's for the coming week. I'm Glad it didn't snow by you!! :-) Especially since you do a lot of walking around town to stores, etc!! I see the weather has grown colder by you too! I see why you don't want it to start snowing just yet there!! It's Nice to see snow around Christmas but, it's hard getting around in when you have to go to stores in the snow etc!! Not FUN at all!

Yes, you and I were both too sad to post anything on the Beatles site for John Lennon Day, this December 8th!! I have always done it in the past. Had FUN doing Laundry etc yesterday!! Today my Mother used that non slip bathtub mat I ordered for her. It worked out very good!! :-) Tomorrow my Mother had an appointment with an orthopedic doctor but, she canceled it. She found out he mainly specializes in hips. She not only has problems with her hip but, also her knees and her leg. Some of them only specialize in certain areas. So, she found another orthopedic doctor who takes care of the whole musculoskeletal system! She has an appointment to see him on this coming Friday! This Tuesday she sees her Foot Doctor. I'll be going with her to both doctor visits of course. I'm going to need an eye exam as soon as I can find time to get one!! Friday and Saturday my left eye was twitching!! Could be caused from stress or lack of sleep? But, my eye sight has gotten worse anyway. As soon as I can I have to get an eye exam! Also, my computer has been acting up the last few times I've used it, including today. Always something going on! :-( But, at least it's working!!

Thanks My Friend!!! About that I don't need to respond to every single one of your comments on the pictures!! With doing stuff around here and taking care of my Mother etc., I don't have too much time to be on the computer these days. :-( I haven't even been to the Beatles site lately. I seen there are some messages for me on there from You and Mike Pell. And Mike also sent me some emails I haven't had the time to respond to yet. I'll get to them when I can!! But, I Wanted to catch up with YOU for a bit Today!!! Always look forward to catching up with You when I can!!! :-) I just looked at some of the comments you left under some pictures!! I also, looked at the messages you posted under the Birthday Pictures for Candy O!!! I Like what you said under them!!! And I HOPE she Reads the comments you posted under them!!!! They were Very Sweet Comments!!!!! I'm So Glad you enjoyed that other Birthday picture I made for you that I updated!! So Glad you used it as your computer wallpaper for that day!!! :-) And the one of that Birthday Cake I found on the internet with Sadie on it! Thank You for the Sweet message you left under that one!!! I Loved your Comments!!!!! :-) That's all I had time for today. I have to start my afternoon chores here now. I agree, it's better to post about John Lennon and George Harrison on their birthdays. February is almost here, and that's when I prefer to celebrate George. Glad your mother got the new bathtub mat and it worked fine for her! Hopefully there will be no more accidents! Best wishes to her when she starts seeing those specialized doctors soon. Sorry to hear about your twitchy eye! That happens to me too, from time to time. I don't think it's a big cause for alarm, unless it lasts for more than a day. It's probably just from lack of sleep... but if you feel you need to, go ahead and get it checked out immediately! Hopefully it's nothing serious! For a week or so after David Cassidy died, I hardly slept either and had the same twitching eye problem, but in both eyes. One morning after an up all nighter, I even had chest pain and thought I could be having a heart attack! It was scary. I took his death so hard that I nearly died myself! :-(

If Candy O. did read our birthday greetings for her, I wonder why she didn't say anything? Her unresponsive behavior has been puzzling me for many months now. It's sad, but a relief that the 2 sites are still around even without her being an active administrator/member. Hopefully they won't go away in January either. I also hate Facebook! And as for e-mail, I don't really use it to talk to people anymore, just to keep track of bills, online orders, etc... at least there's still some ways we can keep in touch if anything ever happens to this site but it still won't be as fun! :-(

Remember that retro costume contest I entered at an Opera House a few months ago? Well I finally found out that although the contest was cancelled, they used the pictures from it as a collage on the wall in the building. Too bad I can't make another trip down there to see it, and by then they will probably have changed the bulletin board anyway. It might even be gone already. So it looks like I will probably never see my picture from that day, but oh well, it was still fun dressing up. 

I've already started receiving some of the stuff I ordered online this month. When I eventually get everything I'll share a picture of it all here! Now I've spent nearly $300 on David Cassidy related stuff for myself, and I'm still blaming it on birthday/Christmas/condolence gifts! LOL!!!

Yes, February is almost here, and I'll be sure to post some pictures of George then!! Thanks!!! I'm Glad that new bathtub mat worked out very well for my Mother, too!! Maybe after I see what that specialized doctor has to say about my Mother this Friday, to see if she has to take any tests or not? I Know you took his death So Hard!!!! :-( I remember when I had to have the Vet put my previous cat Ebbie to sleep. That night and for many days after I was so sad and depressed and was crying all the time!! I hardly slept at all too. I was so drained and out of it, and was feeling horrible and I actually lost weight because of that! Things like THIS can surely cause problems with your body!!! :-(

Hey Beatlebob. I hope your mom's Podiatrist appointment went well? Good luck with her other appointment on Friday too. Glad your twitchy eye problem stopped. Hopefully it won't start back up again and you'll be able to see the eye doctor soon. :-)

I still have insomnia! You're right, those kind of traumatic things can really wreak havoc on one's health. I hope Mike Pell finally responds to us. I wish somebody would at least post an online picture of the Opera House's bulletin board. I even tried searching around for one but still no luck. Oh well. I actually hope they did take it down already. I don't like being put on public display while wearing a retro costume. Well at least I had sunglasses on to disguise my face somewhat. Maybe it's best if I don't ever see that picture afterall. LOL!!!!

I know, I've been a bad girl when it comes to online ordering. I find it hard to stop, but finally had to when I realized I had reached nearly $300. LMAO! Not even the holidays could be an excuse for that type of spending anymore! Especially since the gifts were all for me! LOL!!!

I am still mad though, at all the gossip going on about David Cassidy even after his death. I just read this model/singer named Samantha Fox now accused him of sexual harassment. Wtf?? Even if it's true, now is not a good time to talk about it! He hasn't even been dead a month yet! Ugh! And like most of these harassment stories coming out lately, it supposedly happened over 30 years ago so it's not even a big deal anymore! Annoying! I don't understand how any woman in their right mind could even complain about him flirting with them in the first place, but I read she's a lesbian so that pretty much explains it all. LOL!!!!

Did you hear the 2018 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees have been announced today? I am glad The Cars are finally voted in. But also sad that Candy O. is not here anymore to discuss it! Congratulations to The Cars, Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, The Moody Blues, and Nina Simone. I am sad The Zombies didn't make it this time but at least The Moody Blues did! That made me so happy! I can't wait for the ceremony on HBO next year! :-)

Hey Beatlebob! Thanks for the compliment on my new vinyl records and the little snowflake symbols I put in the box on the front page. I also figured out how to change text on there too! I'm glad that little shoutbox hasn't expired yet like the one on the Beatles site did. I think the chatroom over there expired too? Nobody was using it anymore anyway! It's sad to see how deserted that site has become. Even Mike Pell dosen't visit it too often. :-(

I know what you mean, it's hard scheduling appointments around this time of year, with all the holidays and bad weather. Anyway, it looks like you don't really need to see an eye doctor right now since the twitching stopped. Good luck with any future appointments you and your mother may have. I set all of mine aside until January. I do have to go to the DMV office to get a new ID soon though. Mine expires this month. Ugh! I'm not looking forward to waiting in long lines and going up there in the blistering cold, maybe even snowy weather to take a picture for my new ID card. But that's life! :-( 

Thanks for making me feel less guilty for that online shopping spree. I read that many people with depression also have shopping addiction because they feel it will help lift their spirits. That's definitely me! LOL!!! It was getting a bit out of control though. Spending any more than $300 will leave me homeless and out in the cold for the holidays. LMAO!

I agree! What's the point in trash talking someone who's now dead?? Shame on that bitch!!! She should consider herself lucky instead!! Her story actually made me super jealous! LOL!!! I'm also surprised she complained about sexual harassment when she was a pinup model that often posted nude. That doesn't make much sense! LOL!!!!

This is the first time I heard about that band. But yeah, Pat DiNizio was a big Beatles fan!! "In addition to 11 albums with the Smithereens – including full album tributes to the Who's Tommy and the Beatles' Meet the Beatles album." I found some info about them:

I just got my 2018 S. S. Award letter in the mail last week. So, I'll give it a little time before I start calling them! Hopefully they will know something!! I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures of my ever growing Partridge Family/David Cassidy collection, and the 45 records brought back memories for you. I agree, just holding them in my hands feels so nostalgic! That little green thing on the bottom right hand corner is a cassette tape. It's much too small to be a CD or DVD. LOL! My main concern is if this site and the Beatles one will still be around in 2018. That's a much bigger problem than the shoutbox expiring. I could try asking, but I doubt Ning will give out any of that information to us since we're not administrators. Even worse, it might just remind them to shut down the sites even sooner! LOL! So let's just enjoy both while we still can!

I read Samantha Fox issued somewhat of an apology on her official Twitter page over her recent remarks about David Cassidy. That made me feel a bit better, although I'm still upset by it! It really was in bad taste to discuss those incidents so soon after his passing. And yes, it didn't make much sense at all considering she was also a slutty looking singer with a hit song called "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" and her name even sounds like a porn star. Lmao!!!! She claimed to not be jumping on the bandwagon with all the sexual harassment claims that have been made in Hollywood lately but I think she was, as well as craving attention and promoting her new book with those not so shocking allegations!

Thank you for that information about The Smithereens. That's awesome they did tribute albums to The Beatles and Who. Wow, I didn't know that! Great! I'll have to check those out soon! I also heard someone named Warrel Dane just died. Another musician I've actually never heard of. But RIP to him too.

Today I realized that my ID card already expired 2 weeks ago on my birthday. Yikes! I need a new one as soon as possible! You're lucky that your driver's license still has a little while longer before expiring. I imagine New York's DMV offices are even busier than here! I also chose to get a regular identification card instead of a license since I currently have no car either. Mine expires every 6 years or so. A trip to the DMV once a decade is enough! LOL!!! I hate that place!!!!! And I still need to find a new coat. I've tried searching around in stores but unfortunately still can't find one that looks and fits right and is a good price. UGH! I get so fed up with life sometimes that I end up going on lavish shopping sprees that I can't even afford just to let out some of that frustration! LOL!!! I know you understand the feeling. You said you wish you had more money to spend. So do I! Come to think of it, if it wasn't for credit, I wouldn't even have any gifts this holiday season!

Sorry to hear you haven't received your annual Medicaid re-cert in the mail yet. I'm still waiting on some magazines I ordered in the mail this month too. I hate it when things don't arrive on time!! Hopefully you'll get everything straightened out soon! Best of luck with that!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here! I'm more looking forward towards New Years though! I'm wishing for a MUCH better 2018 because 2017 was one of the longest and hardest years ever!!!

When I was on Spotify last night, I noticed Ann had recent listening activity. That really upset me! Apparently she still comes online but for some weird reason, won't talk or even respond to us. She's done that a few times before but this time it has been WAY too long! I pretty much give up now. I have no idea why, but it seems like she dosen't really care about us or the sites anymore. SAD!!! :-(

Monday night on ABC they're giving a one hour special called "The Year in Memoriam", a celebration of the legendary stars and icons who passed away during 2017. Are you going to watch it? I'll try to, eventhough it will be so hard seeing all those people, especially David Cassidy on there! That one obviously affected me the most!!! I even vomitted on Thanksgiving from all the crying while eating and hardly slept for a week. His death hit me like a ton of bricks and I was still very saddened by Tom Petty's passing only a month earlier! :-( 

I couldn't be any happier to finally say good riddance to 2017!!! I know you feel the same way! We both had personal problems this year, mine was mostly all the trouble of moving into a new place that I had in the beginning of the year, and you and your mother unfortunately had several health problems! There was also so much tragedy like hurricanes, mass shootings, etc. and of course Trump being our new President. Plus so many famous people passed away this year. And to top everything off Ann stopped talking to us. Wow! It's almost unbelievable! What an all around AWFUL year!!!!
I know 2018 couldn't get any worse!!!

Are you going to start sharing your Beatles Photoshops for Christmas and New Years yet? Looking forward to seeing them again! I especially loved the one of them with champagne and confetti that you made a few years ago. :-)

Hey Sadie!! Sorry it took a while to catch back up with you!!!

My Mother had to cancel her Doctor appointment on Friday. All that morning my Mother had a bad upset stomach and she had the runs a few times, as well!! She rarely gets the runs!! Plus, the weather report was saying it was supposed to snow in the afternoon! That Doctor's office is at the hospital we go to. And it's murder getting a cab there on the way home all the time. In the snow it's even worse!! So, she canceled the appointment! She made a new appointment for Friday January 5th. She actually thinks it's her Arthritis causing the pain she's having. And between that Fall she had and the weather lately makes it act up more. Lately the pain isn't that bad on "some" days and other days, it acts up. She said since it's probably Arthritis what can that Doctor do for her, Nothing. But, before she called to cancel the visit, I told her she Should go another day anyway, just to make sure! So, she made that new appointment! Will see what he has to say when we go on January 5th. I just looked after her and cleaned around here that day. Saturday had to do Laundry FUN etc. Yesterday had to go to the stores across the street to get stuff we needed. More FUN! Then had to do some more cleaning around here.

Well, I called my eye doctor's office and I can't see him till Wednesday January 17th. He's booked up solid until then!!! FUN!!! So, I made the appointment. Called the Vet and taking my cat to get her nails clipped This coming Saturday! Her nails are very long now! I can't clip them! She scratches the Hell out of me when I try to do it!! Between the way I'm feeling and my Mother is feeling we wanted to put it off for a few days. Not only our physical problems we are Both stressed out these days!! So, will bring my cat on Saturday. Will just have to do Laundry FUN next Sunday.

I Still haven't heard anything from Medicaid about my Re - Cert!!! I'm going to try to call them later this week. And if nothing is known yet, will call them the last week of the month again. This CRAP has my Nerves Racked So Much, on top of everything else!!! I have to go through this CRAP every year around this time!!!! IF anything goes wrong with my Medicaid, I might have to join my Mother's Senior Center in the beginning of January, so I can try to get help with Medicaid from a woman that works there. To try to get it straighten out!!! To use that woman's help, you have to be a member of the Senior Center!!! NOT FUN At All!!!! I Don't want to join the Senior Center!!!!! :-( I wouldn't go there, other than trying to get help from that woman with my Medicaid, IF I had to join!!! That's the Last Resort, If I can't get any answers calling Medicaid myself!!! I Hope it won't come down to That!!! Will see??

I'm So Sorry I don't even have enough time to reply to what you posted here Today!!!!!!! When I went to the stores across the street on Sunday they hardly had anything we needed in stock!! Just a few things. I had to go to the grocery store Today!!! FUN!!! :-( They will be delivering the stuff here shortly!! I came on the computer to order Cat Food from chewy just now! We are running very low on it!! After the delivery arrives from the grocery store I have to put the stuff away then start on my afternoon chores here!! I'm Beat already!! LOL!
